This eco-trail for bikes, roller skates and scooters is the largest in Portugal. It runs along the Atlantic coast for 62 km, from Pombal to Obidos. You will have the choice to ride the whole route divided in several roads or to ride only a part of it. From north to south, you will safely cross maritime and forest landscapes. On your way: the beach of Osso da Baleia (departure from Pombal), the lagoon of Ervedeira, Marinha Grande, Alcobaça, Nazaré, Sao Martinho and finally the lagoon of Obidos. Two possible departures, from the village of Penina or Rocha da Pena. This hike is a loop around the limestone massif of Rocha da Pena, which rises to 472 m. Throughout this tour, you will observe the diversity of fauna and flora that characterize this region. The lucky ones will see rare species such as the Bonelli's eagle and plants such as St. John's wort and saw palmetto. The Alfama municipal swimming pool, located opposite the Pantheon, is really quite small: 3 lines, 16 metres long, with a maximum depth of 1.20 metres! The Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon was built between 1861 and 1867. Very quickly, it specialized in the field of astrometry, that is to say, in the measurement of the position of the stars, until it obtained a real international recognition. It was finally integrated into the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon in March 1995, while maintaining its own autonomy. In 2012, the Council of the University of Lisbon approved its integration into the Museums Unit of the University of Lisbon. Today its activities include scientific and historical research, as well as the preservation and dissemination of heritage to the general public. A visit to this remarkable site allows one to become aware of the rich historical, architectural and instrumental heritage of Portuguese and world astronomy, especially in the 19th and 20th centuries. Três Ondas, or the three waves, is a surf school founded by Frithjof Gauss, the first German longboard champion, in Ericeira. This is a 9.3 km bicycle or pedestrian path stretching from Amarante to Chapa. This section is part of the "Linha do Tâmaga" ecotour, which follows an old railway line, now out of service. Ideal for families to discover the banks of the Tâmega River. This ecotour offers beautiful views. There are benches all along the route for resting. Come and have fun for an hour or so in this trampoline park located north of the city. The space is vast, has many areas with trampolines in all directions to let yourself bounce and try, why not, various tricks. The park is open to everyone from 1 to 101 years old! La Herdade do Pessegueiro is an equestrian center located in the Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Southwest Natural Park, in Porto Covo. Founded over 30 years ago by Mr. José Castanheira, this establishment offers horseback riding for all tastes and ages. It also has five rustic houses with sea and mountain views, and a bar where you can enjoy a fine wine while admiring photo albums or discussing equestrian topics.

This surf school is part of Carvalhal Beach Nature, a beachside bar-restaurant (Carvalhal, as the name suggests). Passionate surfer Guilherme Salvador, the owner, will be one of your instructors, assisted by his crack team. On the program: private or group lessons, for one day or more, for beginners or those wishing to perfect their skills, as well as board rental. Yoga classes are also held on the beach every day. And you can also book a massage - your muscles will thank you.

One of the first yoga studios that opened in Lisbon. A little hidden in the middle of the restaurants, it is run by Zoé, an Australian who has been living in Portugal for several years. This trail is located halfway between Vila do Bispo and Praia do Castelejo. About 2 km after Vila do Bispo, on the left, park your car and start from the leisure area (area do lazer). Unlike many tourism-oriented agencies, Divers Cape remains open all year round and can accommodate both foreigners and locals, in all cases seabed enthusiasts, whatever the level. This water park, located a little less than twenty minutes by car from Guimarães, is entirely outdoor. This is why it is open from July to mid-September every year.
