Read moreCreated by a group of friends a few years ago, this workshop was first located within Lx Factory, then moved to the Intendente side to take advantage of a beautiful space. They organize different workshops every month of varying length, and above all bring in artists and craftspeople to run them. You can try your hand at silk-screen printing, ceramics or painting on azulejos, with different techniques depending on who runs the workshop. They also sell kits, if you want to practice at home afterwards.
GAZETE AZULEJOS
Read moreIf you want to bring back a nice souvenir from Porto, you'll have to do a bit of work. Gazete Azulejos organizes painting workshops on azulejos, lasting one and a half hours. They take place in small groups and you follow the advice of passionate and professional artists. Each person will be able to paint two tiles, no need to be an artist, models to reproduce are exposed if that reassures you. Be careful though, the time for the tiles to dry is 24 hours. So plan this workshop at the beginning of your stay.
