In the heart of the northern district, in a buzzing area, the lively creators of Euro Pizza have put a twist on pizza during the pandemic by offering top-quality frozen pizzas. Since then, they've opened their own restaurant, and it's a huge success. In a raw setting, you can eat pizzas, of course, but that's not all. The menu is concise and very efficient. Save room for the dessert, which is always very well thought out. We particularly like the comté pizza. A fine list of natural wines and service that reflects the place, lively and welcoming.

The Sunset is probably the restaurant with the best sea views, and as its name suggests, especially in the evening at dusk. Whether enjoying a drink and tapas on the lounge terrace or a meal in the dining room, guests will find a relaxing and cosy atmosphere. The menu features seafood products: oysters, fish, croquettes, shellfish pasta, as well as meats and generous desserts... The choice is vast! During the summer season, reservations are recommended, given the large number of customers.

Don't be put off by the name of this restaurant, probably not tested by marketing teams before opening. Moche stands for modern ceviche and is a Peruvian cuisine restaurant, a newcomer to the culinary scene in Amsterdam's East End. Here, everything is homemade, and the emphasis is on a blend of flavors and fresh ingredients. Moche's goal? To take you on a culinary journey through Peruvian gastronomy. Fish fans will be pleased.

It's hard to find a better place to have lunch! Adjacent to the Anne Frank house on Prinsengracht, and a few steps away from the famous 9 Streets, this café offers a nice and welcoming terrace and a warm indoor space. The service is fast and very nice. The menu is simple, but everything is fresh and of good quality: quiches, salads, sandwiches, vegetarian snacks, cheese and charcuterie platters... The café is affiliated to the yellow boats of Amsterdam Circle Line, which depart right in front of the terrace!

Here is a nice address! It is both a restaurant and a wine shop specialized in wine. The menu is largely inspired by the seasons and local products. Great care is given to vegetarian and even vegan products. The team in the kitchen and in the dining room will do everything to ensure that you have a pleasant meal with excellent wines that will not ruin you. Le Mortier is located in an old building and the decor is light and bright. An address that celebrates modern French cuisine!

It's a small restaurant located on the port, just opposite the pier. The setting is pleasant, with a lovely, typical wooden interior. In summer, the terrace is of course the best option, subject to availability! The team is efficient and friendly, portions are generous and the menu is simple and straightforward: Dutch specialties, fresh fish (Volendam is a former fishing village), meats, sandwiches or salads. A children's menu is available for families. A great option in the heart of Volendam harbor!

With a prime location on the Marken marina, it's hard to beat it! The pleasant terrace is obviously a favorite spot under sunny skies, but the indoor dining room is just as comfortable and friendly. The restaurant ticks all the boxes for a successful stopover: friendly welcome, fresh ingredients and good specialties, fast, professional staff and hearty portions. Note that the menu changes with the seasons, and it's best to arrive early for a seat on the terrace! We recommend this restaurant.

This is a classic address not to be missed! It is a famous pancake house that has been delighting generations of locals, young and old, as well as tourists, for years. Here, in a typical decor, on the edge of the canal, we offer you traditional Dutch pancakes, richly filled and thick. The menu presents thematic pancakes according to countries, the Egyptian one with lamb, the Indonesian one with chicken, etc. The children's crepes are also themed: pirate, car or clown? No problem!

This is an exceptional starred restaurant with a classy decor and above all superior cuisine, masterfully executed by chef Jan van Dobben. This is one of the best addresses in town and you should be prepared for an unforgettable evening. Amarone has proven itself for over 15 years and has been under Jan's leadership for the past 4 years. The sommelier, Yoshiko van Dobben-Takayama, studied oenology in France and was named sommelier of the year in 2020! The menu is inspired by the flavors of Japan.

This restaurant claims to be "the one and only mountain refuge in the Netherlands"! Although it's close to the country's highest point, it's a long way from the high mountains, so you can put away your gloves and sticks. However, the rustic mountain atmosphere is very much in evidence. Nestled in this vast border forest, the Boscafé is often crowded with regulars and the curious, especially at weekends. The cuisine here is simple but homemade, using local produce, while the owners' animals roam about.

Ten kilometers before Maastricht, Eijsden is the first town on the road from Liège. Aon't Bat takes its name from its location "on the banks" of the Meuse, an exceptional situation to be enjoyed on the terrace (which has several times won the award for best terrace in Limburg!) on fine days. The establishment has been in existence for almost 120 years! First as a café, then as a restaurant, it now offers a wide range of brasserie cuisine: from fish and sandwiches to mussels and meat dishes, there's something for everyone.

Pronk is housed in a historic city building, one of the first stone houses in Groningen with origins in the 13th or 14th century, on the famous Vismarkt. One comes here to have a drink (alcoholic or not) and eat (rather inspired) brewery dishes. Perfect place to stop before continuing to the Martini Tower! It is an address where you can meet for a drink or to eat. The menu includes very inspired sandwiches and soups including many meatless and fishless dishes. Nice address.

Barbie alert in Amsterdam! Here's a beach like no other, the brainchild of the team behind Wondr Experience, a bar-restaurant unlike any other! The decor seems to have come straight out of Palm Spring or Miami. Pink dominates, because it's a happy color according to the founder. No real pool, but a ball pool and an Instagrammable atmosphere. The cocktails, served in mini-bathtubs, are very successful. We come here to take unforgettable photos. The sky sometimes reminds us that we're in the Netherlands.

We love this covered market in Scheveningen, on the waterfront, just a few meters from the pier. The setting is warm and inviting, with plants everywhere and festive lighting that invites you to celebrate. Weather permitting, the terrace is the place to be. The stalls are varied and offer an elaborate culinary journey. From China, Japan and Italy to France and the Netherlands, you won't be disappointed! Ordering is ideally done on an app. A great place to spend a pleasant evening with family or friends.

Just a 2-minute walk from the station, on the edge of the red-light district, you'll find a very pleasant and typical stopover, where you can even take a boat and moor up on the bank of this beautiful pub, which is very lively from 9pm onwards, to enjoy a draught in a marine setting enhanced by the warmth of the brown wood, or to bask in the sun on the terrace that forms an angle with the top of the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. It's all very photogenic. The menu features brasserie dishes, salads and more hearty meat dishes. A typical address.

A fabulous café opened by Karin & Yvonne, it's a concept that appeals to the youth and hipsters of Amsterdam and the surrounding area. In the north, like many of these trendy addresses, it's nestled in a large hangar, which is open to you for a drink and a bite to eat (café dick & dick). It's best to take the ramp and skate. The menu offers a variety of plates with flavors from around the world, with a penchant for Indonesian dishes. We love the rough-and-tumble urban atmosphere. A buzz address.
