The success of this cocktail bar on Beau Vallon beach has led to its expansion, and Mr. Eddy now offers excellent grilled meats all day long (the kitchen closes at around 10pm). Between a Seybrew and a rasta mai tai, you can enjoy grilled chicken, fish kebabs, grilled shrimps and breaded chicken breast, all to the sound of a DJ on Thursdays and a live band on Sundays. In the most creolissime house in Victoria, the Fonseka family has been delighting legions of tourists since the 1970s and three generations, hundreds of whom have hung their business cards on one of the walls of this historic monument. A house full of atmosphere, which offers a pleasant bar in the garden where it is good to have a small aperitif before going to the table. This pleasant, welcoming terrace restaurant is an excellent place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat. Here you can choose between pizzas fresh from the wood-fired oven (also available to take away), unquestionably the best on the island, and Mediterranean specialties à la carte. Fish and seafood are well prepared. We really enjoyed the octopus tartare and the clams with curry, a real treat. Some fine meat dishes, such as the lamb curry, complete the menu. With a good glass of wine, what more could you ask for?

Exit the Exiles! The Moloko restaurant has taken over the friendly premises of the Exiles Club. This large room open to the four winds, hidden at the end of a small dead end and away from the bustle of Victoria, is indeed ideal for an authentic and, above all, quiet meal. Some hamburgers and pizzas accompany European, Chinese, Indian or Creole dishes on a rather well supplied menu. A few rather well thought-out take-away restaurants are also available for those in a hurry and for those with smaller budgets.

If the prices are not cheap, the quality is there and, for the romantics, the few tables placed on a small natural dike will be perfect, but it is better to reserve. Now that's a good plan! Perry may no longer be active behind his barbecue under a palm tree in Anse Royale since the pandemic, but he continues to delight the world with dishes that he can deliver to you if you're self-catering on the east coast. The dishes change according to the catch and the market, but you can generally enjoy his fish kebabs or grilled chicken, always accompanied by a salad. As for drinks, softs and beers always arrive fresh! Unbeatable value for money and a real bargain!
