It is from this train station Partent bus. Tickets are purchased on site (but also in other Viazul stations in the country as well as all other routes).

It is difficult to be precise about the schedules and fares of Viazul, the bus company created for tourists but also used by Cubans. In any case, you will have to go to the bus station (recently redone, with a snack area) to buy your tickets in advance, ideally 1 or 2 days before your actual departure. You will be asked for your passport and a credit card to pay for your ticket in euros only.

Víazul companies (the most comfortable and fastest) and Transtur have offices within the terminal. Purchase of tickets on-site or in all travel agencies. Plan to be at least 20 minutes before bus departure.

From Havana, two departures every day, from 9 a. m. to 2 p. m. Two daily departures to Havana at 8 a. m. and 2 p. m. with a stop at Pinar del Río. Count 12 CUC for one way. Duration 3 hours 10. Count 6 CUC the simple way for Pinar del Río. Duration 45 minutes. Recently there is also a Varadero/Viñales link to 22 CUC with a departure at 8 h of Varadero and an arrival at 3:15 p. m. but there is no Viñales/Varadero route.

Two daily departures to Havana at 7:55, 10:00 and 15:00. Stops in Cienfuegos, Girón and E. de Jagüey. Count 25 CUC for a one-way ticket (duration: 5h45). You can reach Santiago de Cuba at 8am for 33 CUC (duration 11 hours). Stops at Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Avila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín and Bayamo.

Four daily departures to Havana at 8am, 1pm, 4pm, 6pm. Stop in Matanzas. Count 10 CUC for a one-way ticket. Duration 3 hours. Daily service to Santiago de Cuba at 9pm. Stops in Cárdenas, Colón, Santa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Avila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín, and Bayamo. Count 49 CUC for a one-way ticket. Duration: 15 hours. Recently, there has been a direct bus line between Varadero and Trinidad: Departure at 7am and 2.40pm from Varadero (duration: 6.30am) at 20 CUC one way. It is also possible to go to Viñales from Varadero with a departure at 8am and an arrival at 3.15pm for 22 CUC but there is no Viñales/Varadero rotation.

Two daily departures to Havana at 9:40, 11:25 and 16:20. Stop at E. de Jagüey. 20 CUC for a one-way ticket and 4h05 travel time. Daily connection to Santa Clara with a departure at 16:25 for 6 CUC. Duration: 1h15. It is also possible to reach Trinidad at 11:45, 12:05, 14:55 and 15:20 for 6 CUC. Plan 1h35 of travel time.

With the introduction of new trains in Cuba, schedules are variable. The train line that makes Havana/Cienfuegos is the same as the one that goes to Santa Clara. Count 30 UPCs in 1st class and 20 UPCs in ^2nd class. We still advise you to inquire directly at the station as the rates may also change. However, be aware that even if the trains are new, the journey remains long because of the much too old rails.... If you're in a hurry, take the bus instead

From the airport, there are several means of transportation to get to the city center. There are two bus routes from the airport to the city center: from Avenida de Boyeros to the university; from Avenida de Boyeros to Ciudad Deportiva, then Calle 26 and Calle 23. By public cab, count 25 € to reach Vedado or Habana Vieja (20 € by private cab). If you have rented a car, go directly to the counter of the agency in question.
