The WLAN operates only outside the ETECSA office, on the large square, on the main street and in the nearby streets within a radius of 80 m around. And the more you move away from the Wifi point of the office and the weaker the signal, of course. That's why you'll see everyone installed on the ETECSA desk just after the shutdown, the eyes riveted on their smartphone: They're still connected to the Internet! Attention: operators tend to inflate the price of the Internet card when it is a tourist who buys it… To avoid the scam, ask for a receipt and the price will then miraculously fall!
