It takes around 5 hours to walk from the village of Ceahlău, 3 to 4 hours from the Durău station. The panorama from the top is spectacular, including a fine view of Mount Toaca. It's a friendly place for all hiking enthusiasts. Its dormitories for 6 to 14 people are very simple, but comfortable, and the meals served are very good. There's also a sauna and a traditional wooden bath.

Situated in a village 2 km south of Târgu Neamț, in the direction of Agapia, this large, beautiful guesthouse offers 16 comfortable, elegantly decorated double rooms. There are also a number of apartments for up to 3 people. The setting is pleasant and the welcome warm. The spacious restaurant serves good food, with an interesting choice. The 3 or 4-star comfort rooms are magnificent, decorated in the Belle Époque style, though sometimes bordering on kitsch. Beware, too, that some rooms can be noisy. All decorated differently, they boast superb views of the river. Here you enter a cosy, flower-filled doll's house! This small boutique hotel with just six rooms has the feel of an English cottage. It occupies the first floor of a historic building dating from the early ^20th century, just off Carol Park in the south-west of the city. The rooms are quite small but charming, with their floral wallpaper, white wooden furniture, pink carpeting... The first floor is occupied by a restaurant with an international menu, Il Cantuccio, where breakfast is also served. It's breathtaking!

Occupying a six-storey Soviet building without much charm, this 2-star hotel benefits, as its name suggests, from a very central location, 100 m from piața Victoriei. However, it is located in a quiet street near the Hunyadi castle. Some rooms overlook the noble building. Decorated in a slightly dated style, they are however rather welcoming and well kept, equipped with air conditioning, Wifi and a minibar. The restaurant of the establishment offers Romanian and international specialties.
