It takes around 5 hours to walk from the village of Ceahlău, 3 to 4 hours from the Durău station. The panorama from the top is spectacular, including a fine view of Mount Toaca. It's a friendly place for all hiking enthusiasts. Its dormitories for 6 to 14 people are very simple, but comfortable, and the meals served are very good. There's also a sauna and a traditional wooden bath.

In addition, there is a building used as a youth hostel, with rooms with 4 beds and a common room with a small kitchen, sofas and table football. A good address.
