One of the best nightclubs in Bucharest, with an excellent atmosphere, young and very lively. In addition to DJ sets, concerts are regularly scheduled, mainly electro, but also rock or jazz... Control welcomes the cream of the Romanian underground scene, but also international artists. The interiors are very elegant, while the terrace under the ivy offers a welcome breath of fresh air. Good to know: on Tuesdays, drinks are half price! And if a craving arises, just run upstairs to the Alt Shift restaurant.

Bistro à l'étage" is located at the very top of the Hotel Cismigiu. The place looks like a bonbonnière, all powder pink. It takes you back to the days when Bucharest was known as "Petit Paris", with its gilding and retro elegance. The drinks menu offers a variety of cocktails and Romanian wines, as well as smoothies, lemonades and more. You can also dine here, with a French-style menu. From the narrow terrace, you'll have an unobstructed view of the Parliament Palace and the surrounding rooftops.

Pan Geea Youth Hostel, Geea Caffe is located on the first floor of an old building, overlooking Piaţa. Inside, it is a happy mix of travelers and young people from Sibiu. The beer is flowing in a festive atmosphere. Very successful, the baroque decoration is astonishing, with its stylish furniture, old Persian carpets, tapestries decorated with scrolls and other obsolete objects. You will also find a games room, with everything you need to play cards, backgammon, rummy and various board games.

Designed by French architect Albert Galleron and inaugurated in 1888, this is one of the city's most beautiful buildings. Topped by a vast dome and featuring a neoclassical façade, the Romanian Athenaeum evokes an Ionic temple. The large concert hall is adorned with a monumental fresco depicting the main scenes in the country's history, from Trajan's conquest of Dacia to independence in 1877. Today, the Athenaeum is home to the George Enescu Philharmonic. Whether or not you're planning to attend a show, the venue is well worth a visit.

This Scandinavian-designed haven of peace is very popular. M60 offers one of Bucharest's best coffees, excellent brunches and fine Romanian craft beers. It also serves healthy snacks at very reasonable prices: salmon wraps, avocado toast, omelettes of all kinds, vegetarian quiches, salads, soups... Not forgetting the various sweet treats. No wonder it's a favorite with young hipsters and expats, as well as freelancers.

A little way from downtown, in a charming neighborhood, Coftale offers one of the capital's finest coffee lists. The latte is perfectly crafted, not to mention the marshmallow hot chocolate. Snacks such as quesadillas and apple-caramel pie are equally excellent. You can also enjoy an egg breakfast at any time of day, or a good craft beer. The coffee shop is housed in an elegant former villa with a lovely terrace.

Both a bar and an open-air brasserie, "la vieille cour" occupies the first floor and garden of an old mansion in Craiova, in the center of the city. This former manor house has been transformed into a trendy bar, furnished with salvaged furniture, where students and trendy young people flock. As far as drinks are concerned, in addition to cocktails and various spirits, you'll find a good selection of beers, international as well as craft and local. Mind you, there's no sign outside the bar, so it's easy to miss!

The facade of the "Beer Cart" is one of the most photographed in the city (see "Points of Interest"). Its location, in the historic area and near the prestigious Victoriei buildings, is no longer pleasant. But the real surprise is inside: woodwork, arms, stained glass windows and frescos. A warm and chargé decor, where writers and intellectuals clashed at the time of «Micul Paris». The location is perfect for a drink.

Located on the seafront, this magnificent Art Nouveau construction is the city's emblem. This is in any case the best known building in Constanţa. Built in 1910 to become a pavilion of Queen Elisabeta, the French architect Daniel Renard was the Architect of his construction. In the 1980 s, the building was completely restored. Now we appreciate its large terrace and the surrounding area. The casino is in work and you can only admire it from outside. In front of you is a small Aquarium (Acvariu, open from 9 am to 20 pm).

Four modern cinemas on the third floor of the Tomis Mall.

It is one of the oldest establishments in Vama Veche: Bibi Bistro was established there in 1998, when there were still only cornfields and shepherds there. He is now on one of the busiest streets. You can eat good pizzas, pasta and grilled meats and fish for a small price. The house also offers some 120 different types of wine. With its wooden tables and benches lined up, the place is at the crossroads of the canteen and the pub. Ideal to settle your stomach after a day (or a night!) at the beach.

In a nook of the piața Mică, this café-bar-restaurant offers a cosy, warm setting, with leather armchairs and banquettes, beautiful woodwork, under white cross vaults. There's also a lovely terrace overlooking the square. It serves all kinds of drinks, including good craft beers, as well as simple, good food: wraps, focaccias, pastas, pizzas, salads, meat dishes and Asian dishes, not forgetting homemade Italian ice creams. Breakfast is also available.

The National Theater and Opera of Cluj-Napoca is a must-see for theater and opera lovers. Located on Place Ştefan cel Mare, it offers a varied, high-quality program. Shows are performed on the main stage as well as in the "Euphorion" studio. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.bilete.ro. The theater also organizes special events, festivals and exhibitions.

Its elegant, classical-style façade contrasts with the rest of the building, which looks like a large white mushroom from the back. This prestigious concert hall, built astride the city walls, is home to the Sibiu Philharmonic Orchestra. Here you can enjoy symphonic concerts and recitals at very affordable prices. Built in 1787 as a theater, the hall suffered two major fires, including one in 1949. After extensive restoration work in the 1990s, it was inaugurated in 2004.

The Hollywood Multiplex is a cinema located in Bucharest Mall. It offers a variety of films in different genres such as adventure, comedy, fantasy, romance and love. Films are shown in their original version with Romanian subtitles. The cinema also features a bar where moviegoers can relax before or after the show. In summer, we climb onto the vast roof of the National Theatre and you settle on wooden benches to drink a beer with local, noisy and living youth, to listen to music (sometimes live) or to watch games projected on the upper wall of the building. In winter, we change our floor to fit into the metallic and somewhat dark decor of a bar in the long distance, where you can pay attention to photos, memories of Brancusi, Dada and Tristan Tzarades. The atmosphere and originality of this place attract many students.
