At the entrance to the village from Râșnov, slightly set back from the road, this pleasant, well-treed campsite offers around sixty pitches for caravans and motorhomes, as well as around a hundred reserved for tents. It offers a wide range of amenities: electricity available on all pitches, washing machine, barbecue and bike hire... It also has a large covered terrace with numerous tables, a bar and a snack bar. Beware: in summer, the place fills up fast. It's best to book in advance to be sure of a place!

This bungalow village is located 8 km north of Iași, in the locality of Dorobanți, on the shores of the lake of the same name. The setting is pleasant and wooded. The wooden cabins for 2 are comfortably equipped: attractive furniture, air conditioning, TV... All have a small shaded terrace and they share common sanitary facilities. Some bungalows have 2 bedrooms and a living room. Numerous outdoor activities are available: canoeing, tennis, boating, ping-pong, fishing, badminton... The campsite also has a multi-sports field and terraces overlooking the lake.

A few yurts set around a small artificial lake, surrounded by greenery: this "cotton hotel" offers a simple, peaceful setting. The 25 m² tents are equipped with a double bed and a cot (with the option of adding another), on the same floor. Each has its own terrace and hammock. Barbecues and tables are lined up on one side. One container offers two bathrooms, with washing machine and recharging point. It's the only place with electricity! Ioan will be happy to lend you the equipment you need to titillate the carp that populate the lake.

A pretty country campsite high above the village, with an unobstructed view of the beautiful surrounding hills. This 6-hectare natural area, created by a young Dutch couple in 2012, offers simple comforts: sanitary facilities, barbecue, summer kitchen, hammocks, campfires, tables and chairs scattered here and there... The campsite also features a 5-bed mini-hostel, upstairs from the traditional house that serves as the sanitary facilities. Please note that access may be difficult for very large vehicles (contact the campsite in advance).

This campsite, located at the entrance to the spa and close to the Venus swimming pool, offers small wooden cottages for rent. The comfort is simple, but the site is very pleasant, with flowers and trees, an area for barbecues and campfires, wooden tables and swings scattered around the site, and a covered terrace for meals under cover, complete with refrigerator. There are also a number of rooms and apartments for two to four people in the pension du petit domaine, complete with fully-equipped kitchen.

In this seaside resort, you'll stay in pleasant, clean and spacious bungalows. Some have two double bedrooms, sharing a common terrace. Bungalows for three or four people feature a basic kitchenette with microwave oven. The resort also includes a building with brand-new apartments for four people, fully equipped (kitchen, living room, etc.). It has its own beach, lined with a bar-restaurant, with a terrace with your feet in the sand.

For those on a budget, this campsite is open from June to November. It's located on the road to Târgu Jiu, just outside the town. In addition to pitches for tents and motorhomes, you'll find small wooden chalets for two people, with or without bathroom facilities. The campsite is organized around the Casa Horezeana restaurant, which serves traditional specialties in a rustic setting.

This fairly new establishment in the center of the village comprises 20 white wooden cottages with green shutters and reed-covered roofs. They are clustered together in a beautifully arranged lawned garden, with shrubs, flowers and shady picnic areas. Simply equipped, the cabins can accommodate two people. Some of the more expensive cabins have en-suite bathrooms. All have a small porch-terrace with table and chairs. There's also a shared kitchen and living room, as well as a barbecue.

Here's a good alternative to the big, charmless hotels of the resorts. On a beach away from the crowds, these 12 white wooden bungalows offer all the comforts of home: a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, small sitting area with sofa bed and private terrace. Everything is white and relaxing. Right next door, you'll also find an 18-room hacienda with restaurant, owned by the same proprietor, and a 15-room house with swimming pool. A large private Copacabana beach, with bar and deckchairs, borders the complex.

Located on the northern edge of the resort, "l'auberge des pirates" boasts a vast 6-hectare estate leading down to the beach. Pitches can accommodate tents, caravans or motorhomes. The vacation village also offers permanent accommodation: large double rooms, family apartments, villas, bungalow-dormitories for 4 to 6 people and small wooden chalets without sanitary facilities, equipped with two single beds. The complex includes a restaurant, soccer fields, tennis courts and children's playground.

At the far end of the village, on the way to the beach, this large, attractive campsite offers several hundred tent pitches, as well as around 50 thatched wooden cottages. Each is equipped with two small beds and a mini-terrace. The campsite features an open-air cinema, a bar, a restaurant, a discotheque, a large terrace and a store. You can play volleyball, soccer, billiards or table tennis. Or take advantage of the pontoons for fishing.

Just a few hundred meters from the monastery, in the garden of a guesthouse, this charming, quiet campsite offers a number of amenities: clean sanitary facilities, electricity, drainage for chemical toilets, good WiFi coverage, covered terrace with barbecue. You may prefer one of the pension's seven simple yet spacious rooms. There's a kitchenette with microwave and fridge, and a large dining room. The owner speaks French.
