Erected in 1882 by Gustave Eiffel's company, this elegant neoclassical building overlooking the central square is a listed historic monument. In stark contrast to the surrounding concrete towers! The 3 or 4-star comfort rooms are magnificent, decorated in the Belle Époque style, though sometimes bordering on kitsch. Beware, too, that some rooms can be noisy. The establishment, renovated in the 2000s, also boasts a restaurant, a bistro serving pizzas and Romanian dishes, and a London-style pub.
