Eight double rooms, a little narrow but cosy: private health, air conditioning, safe, minibar and complete satellite TV with flat screen. Free wifi connection. The restaurant on the ground floor is popular with residents and locals. Eric and his wife have the sense of reception.

Great location, overlooking the river. Beautiful rustic bungalows with tiled floors. You can eat it (bread, pizza, lobster in season), it's very good. The best option for a 2-day circuit from Manakara to Fort Dauphin, especially as the reception of Victor, a Marseille, is to small onions. A good plan!

Perhaps the best value for money in Morombe. In a flowery setting and facing the sea, the rooms are spacious, impeccable and all equipped with hot water. Only two rooms do not have private toilets: a good compromise for tighter budgets. The wagon is a great plan for several people, and the bungalow is a real godsend. Also a room 12 km away in Katia's house at Andefitra Point. Good meals served with a smile (depending on the day's fishing). Possibility to order a picnic lunch: tray with vegetables, rice and fish depending on the market of the day.

Rustic ecogîte but of good comfort. Jihnie (fine stove) and Patrice, a Malagasy-Island couple, provide excellent personal hospitality. The location is perfect for recharge (overnight). All kinds of excursions in the corner and region, and even everywhere in Mada with their Flower travel agency. 

5 bungalows only, summary but fairly well assembled, overlooking the lagoon. A wonderful view of the restaurant, where you'll find plenty of recovering with lobster and homemade maison. Warm and friendly welcome. To discover. 

A chic eco-lodge concept between land and sea: with the Mikea forest on one side and the crystal clear lagoon on the other, Mikea Lodge is sure to please. The 10 units, which are either on the beach or slightly set back, are carefully furnished. The floors are covered with stained parquet, while outside, the ceiling has been forgotten for an open-air shower; the ultimate exoticism! The establishment has three bars and a restaurant. A wide range of activities is offered: jet-skiing, kitesurfing, whale watching, diving, nature tours around the Mikeas forest... We like it.

Excellent address: the 27 rooms are well decorated. The team is involved in the local cultural life and regularly organizes concerts, exhibitions, workshops for children and/or educational and leisure film screenings in collaboration with the Alliance française and the Kilonga humanitarian and cultural association. Themed excursions are also offered on an à la carte basis. However, the highlight is the top floor, with its bar, lounge restaurant and unique terrace offering a 360 degree panorama of Diego. Set of six simple but well kept bungalows, aligned in a tropical landscape. A spacious common room where everyone is, with family. A perfect and recommended stop.

Opened in 2017, the Relais du Kirindy belongs to the same group as the Kimony Resort in Morondava and the Olympe du Bemaraha in Tsingys. Located 7 km from the entrance of the Kirindy forest, the 22 bungalows on stilts, doubles, triples or twins are spread out in a vast arc of land. All made of wood and carefully decorated, the bungalows are spacious and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant and bar overlook a pool in front of the sacred baobab tree. Make sure that your guide and driver can have dinner on site (this is not always planned).

Beautiful address by John, an Englishman, and his wife Mina. The rooms are simple but kept, and at this price it is difficult to back! We also appreciate the free Wi-Fi, the giant screen (sports events retransmitted) and the good restaurant Le Zébu Philosopher, which offers a succulent filet net to all sauces or almost!

Martina (a German who speaks our language very well) has created a small "village" perfectly integrated, with a beautiful view on the Isalo massif, in a very quiet place. It is a simple and relaxing place, with a nice swimming pool and a botanical and aromatic garden. Many fruit trees have also been planted... the home-made jams and juices are delicious. The rooms are well kept, comfortable and most have a terrace with a superb view. A pleasant restaurant on an open terrace. A nice address, we recommend it !

The most comfortable structure of the site (with the Orchidées Orchids). Perched on a hill, the hotel enjoys a breathtaking view of the Manambolo valley. Not to miss, the panorama from the restaurant terrace! In Morondava, their offices are located at the Cyber Space. Small shop (t-shirts, local crafts…).

Owned by the NGO Bel Avenir and managed by the SOLIDAIRE Development company Madagascar, all of the hotel's revenues are donated to the Agua de Coco Foundation to fund local development activities. It includes a hotel school, in order to train young people in the various business professions. The 10 bungalows are spacious. Swimming pool, massage room and relaxation area are at your disposal.

Right next to the tea plantations of Sahambavy, about 30 minutes from the center of Fianarantsoa, the complex is beautifully laid out on the banks of a beautiful artificial lake. The setting is enchanting. The standard bungalows are quite simple but are no less comfortable. The First Class bridal car, so atypical, is a favorite and of high standing! Beautiful restaurant and quality cuisine (dishes are prepared with fresh organic products). Numerous activities are offered. The address remains a choice stopover on the road to the south.

This three-star hotel-restaurant is centrally located and is a favorite among travelers. It has 17 comfortable, well-decorated and well-equipped rooms, including one suite. The restaurant/bar by the lovely pool (redone in 2022) and its duckboard deck, flanked by a ravenala tree, invites you to sip a cocktail at cocktail hour. The cuisine is among the best in town. Perfect comfort and friendly service, under the leadership of Eric, very welcoming and available. Organization of trips, stay "à la carte". We understood it: an address of choice!

Bungalows lined in a beautiful tropical park by the sea and right next to the mouth; we can go there to observe the daily life of the inhabitants (lavandiers, fishermen…). Fresh seafood products guaranteed! In the morning, breakfast takes place in the large garden, lulled by the noise of the waves. The staff were very helpful and helpful. Possibility to organize excursions on the canal towards Manakara or to discover the surrounding fishing villages.

Bungalows that surround a garden (or green space) well kept, on the edge of the water. Jovial and smiling home, at least when the owners are there. Very good meal and a set that keeps the road.

Rooms are clean, with private sanitary facilities (solar hot water) and safes. They are well kept and functional. Pleasant little courtyard (with lounge) at the rear for breakfast (and surfing the web). No restaurant (pizzas can be delivered), but a snack area. A good little address at a reasonable price. At the time of our visit, Alain, the manager, had undertaken some refurbishments and new fittings. This charming colonial villa has been given a new lease of life.

This establishment, originally intended for the elderly, has undergone an unlikely facelift: large, beautiful rooms, decorated with care, now intended for tourism. It is very clean and unruffled calm. We will take advantage of our stay to visit the small museum dedicated to the history of the building. Recommendable, but it is a pity that the prices increased these last times! The Gasy Car shuttles arrive and leave from the Residence.

Very nice hotel composed of bungalows set in a green area, less than 100 m. from the beach, on the other side of the road. The rooms are comfortable, all equipped with a large bed with mosquito net, fan and air conditioning, bathroom with shower and w.c., wifi etc. The whole is very well kept. Sandrine, the owner, ensures the quality of the reception and the service. In the kitchen, the house favors fresh local products and organic food, with a large choice of fish and seafood. A good address.

One of Tana's best quality/price ratios, and it's starting to come out! Central location and rooms with parquet floor very well maintained and well equipped. However, not all of them are identical. The Italian restaurant is in tone, pleasant and of high quality. Responsive and smiling service. A good address in more than one way.

Good to know: VIP taxis for Antsirabe (Gasy Car) leave the hotel every day, at 7am, 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm (www.gasycarvip.com). Reservation required.

We love La Belle Aventure. This small hotel, located in a quiet street, has recently benefited from a global refreshment, it can leave again more beautiful! Special mention to Jobila, receptionist and painter at his time, whose murals decorate the rooms and corridors. It is colourful, welcoming, clean, functional and well thought out. The rooms with terrace offer very nice views of the sea. Restaurant on the street. A very good price-quality ratio. The whole thing leaves a good memory, the atmosphere is very pleasant.

The bungalows are very nice, with en suite bathrooms, TV and good bedding. The site lacks charm or brightness, but the whole remains excellent value for money. The kitchen is rich and tasty: probably also one of the best tables on the island, at the right price. Welcome to Benoît and Chantal, when they are there. An address to remember.

All rooms are not worth (hot water for the most expensive ones only, some are brighter than others): The rooms of the main building are really designed for every small budget. For more comfort, the Annexe is a few metres away, where the rooms are larger and quieter. All of them have private health and television.
