A traditional brasserie that takes us back in time with old photos of Lausanne hanging on the walls. Beautiful light wood design. In the basement, a carnotzet allows you to taste cheese specialties in a typical setting. You can enjoy all the traditional "caquelons du vigneron" cuisine, where you cook the meat in red wine. The menu is rich: fondues, cheese crusts, röstis, malakoff, meats, lake fish, sauerkraut, sausages, papets vaudois, you name it! The choice is wide.

The Café Romand, which has existed since 1951, is an institution in Lausanne. The service could be more pleasant, but its roughness is part of the décor! Its large bay window illuminates this old painting with a thousand lights to add a pleasant touch of modernity.
