The Café Romand is the heir to the golden age of the great Lausanne brasseries, and one of the last authentic pints in the canton of Vaud. Sitting in a typical wooded setting of yesteryear, you will enjoy traditional dishes as well as omelettes, sandwiches and soups. The Café Romand, which has existed since 1951, is an institution in Lausanne. The service could be more pleasant, but its roughness is part of the décor! Its large bay window illuminates this old painting with a thousand lights to add a pleasant touch of modernity.

On the Vaud Riviera, in a former art gallery, La Galerie offers an enchanting setting and view of Lake Geneva, with a magnificent terrace. Favoring local producers and lake fish, chef Jérémie Cordier, rated 15/20 by Gault & Millau, transforms dishes into works of art, fusing flavors, textures and colors. Facing the lake, between the tourist office and the landing stage, Le Métropole boasts one of the most remarkable locations. Mr. Louvier is the chef at Le P'tit Carougeois, serving delicious perch fillets with homemade fries. The dishes are simple, traditional and regional, and there's a great menu for meat lovers. Two small terraces on the street or garden side await customers. Open on Saturday evenings in November and December during Carouge's many events.

This cosy café-restaurant is located in the heart of Aarau. Open all day non-stop, the establishment welcomes you for lunch, dinner or just a coffee. At lunchtime, in addition to the salad or soup of the day, the chef offers gourmet dishes with exotic accents, such as the chicken salad with mango vinaigrette. In the evening, recipes are also influenced by fusion cuisine, with many Asian touches. Aperitif platters are also on the menu.

In a warm and woody atmosphere, the chef has made cheese fondue a speciality. On the menu, you will also find delicious recipes prepared with regional products: pike-perch fillet and spinach risotto, braised calf's head with market vegetables, medallions of veal fillet and truffle ravioli... Known for its large terrace, this brand offers a small restaurant serving salads, sandwiches, focacciasand toast for lunch.
