Let yourself be guided by a talking stick as you discover the banks of the Vienne River - it's a fun, one-and-a-half-hour stroll for the whole family. Follow a 2.5 km itinerary along the river, to the rhythm of the voice of Stéphane, a farmer in love with the valley. 9 markers tell you all about the flora and fauna of this protected site. The storyteller's stick is available from the Aixe-sur-Vienne tourist office. Don't forget to bring it back!

There are a number of walks available in George Sand country, from the traditional to the most original. We recommend the Randoland tour, a fun way for families to discover the area. The tourist office in La Châtre has developed a series of information sheets for children. You can also try your hand at geocatching, where you can use clues to find or hide objects in unusual places (more information at www.geocatching.com).

A great classic for hiking in the region. This 17 km long walking and mountain bike circuit penetrates into the heart of the Limousin Mountains through the forests, crossing springs, clearings and thousand-year-old peat bogs. Depending on the starting point you choose, you will either make the full ascent to Mont Bessou or you will enjoy the view of distant horizons and then plunge into this ocean of nature. From one valley to another, don't miss the opportunity to discover the sites of heritage and tourist interest of the commune of Meymac in a different way: the Longeyroux peat bog, the Farges viaduct, the panoramic tower of Mont Bessou, the Gallo-Roman ruins of Les Cars.

The GR89 is a hiking trail that refers to the writer and humanist Michel de Montaigne. Sport and literature become one! It is the path he took in 1581 to reach Bordeaux, from Rome. The itinerary takes up two themes that were dear to him: the journey and the meeting. On the Puy-de-Dômoise part, hikers discover the local heritage through quotations and extracts from the author's travel journal. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is crossed by 6 stages of the path, allowing to discover the richness of the territory: the Allier river at Pont-du-Château, the puy d'Anzelle at Cournon, the historical center of Clermont, the crossing of the Chaîne des Puys, etc.

On the territory of the municipality, you will find twohiking trails including the "sentier des Marais". Starting from the Place Salengro, this trail allows you to discover Beuvry, a green city and a nautical stopover, or if you have time, to explore the surrounding territory. Two loops are available, one of 6 km or a hike of 13 km of average difficulty. In the woods, in the spring, you are guaranteed to be delighted with the multitude of dragonflies.

The Bellenville estate offers four trails to discover a unique flora and fauna. As you walk along, keep an eye out and you may be lucky enough to discover the very fast kingfisher (it can reach 80 km/h!) or the very elegant grey heron. These wetlands are a precious asset for the region and make this place a major site of the Sensitive Natural Spaces. The four trails are short and suitable for everyone, enough to share a family walk in the heart of this teeming nature.

To conquer the tip of Grande Journée at an altitude of 2,460 meters, the adventure begins in La Bâthie, where a breathtaking journey through majestic peaks begins. It's advisable to undertake this dizzying excursion in fine weather, to take full advantage of the spectacular views over the Beaufortain massif. The program includes steep ridges, rock climbing and a vertical drop approaching 1,000 meters. Allow around 4.5 hours to complete the entire tour.

The Belle Époque has left behind precious treasures in the spa town of Crossroad-les-Bains, and we invite you through this promenade to discover some pearls. Over the next two short kilometres, you'll enjoy eleven bourgeois villas with eclectic styles, lanéo medieval lily in Miriam's Neo-Renaissance, Celles, Daisy or Alban-Rollin Street. Proof that once again combining sports pleasure and cultural discoveries is possible.

Before you start your walk along the Ourcq Canal, we invite you to take the time to stroll through the picturesque streets and streets of the village, and enjoy the convivial charm of its classified historical heart. This trail evolves in the heart of Saint-Gobain forest. It begins at the Hermitage rocks park - the opportunity to admire the beauty of the Hermitage - and form a loop of barely 5 kilometres through oaks, charms, ash and other maples. Sunday sports or seasoned walkers, the only thing that counts here is love of nature. Because between the diversity of plant species and the few animals you can see this and there by making you discreet, this promenade has a small paradise of greenery!

The main asset of this hike is perhaps the variety of its panoramas. You will find the landscapes of Morvan, the Monts du Lyonnais and the Alps, as well as the Puys chain, as well as to remind you that you are here in Auvergne! The trail is quite easy, and even beginners can enjoy it. There is a difference of 200 metres, but there is still nothing abnormal about it: you are in Auvergne! On foot, it is from the commune of Brénod that you will have to leave to discover these three waterfalls: that of Sautoux, that of Crêt Naillot, and finally that of Versoud. A little over 4 kilometers await you on a forest path, and therefore shaded, punctuated with a few pretty views. In particular, stop at the Areta summit, half way: from the top of its 944 meters altitude, it offers a nice panorama of the village and surrounding area - which is much better thanks to the orientation table!

Go for this walk in the centre of the village of Therefore-d'Ardèche and cross the bridge towards Saint-Pierreville. About 200 metres further, on the right, take the road to Serrepuy: it is simply marked "Loop René Sautel". Need to change air? Choose a refreshing hike on foot or by bike. Many courses are offered through the green spaces of Seine-Saint-Denis. Try the one of Gagny, a place known for its many ponds, which you can judge by yourself through this itinerary for the water. Escape guaranteed through parks full of abundant fauna and flora. The species are distinguished while you regain your breath in the shade of an oak.

This Green Lane begins at the Hameau Hameau in Brégnier-Cordon. In 12 kilometres, it will take you to Évieu and then to the port of Groslée. It is, in fact, a segment of the famous Via Rhôna, which, in 450 kilometres, links Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. The course is peaceful and offers a wide range of activities. This walk begins in Chamouille and takes you to the (re) discovery of Neuville-sur-Blade and its surroundings. The loop bypasses the village, giving you a few pretty panoramas on the Laonnois. On the way, don't miss the House of Nature in Neuville: if the heart tells you and you have some time, it deserves a short stop. But by the way, do you know what a creute is? If you didn't know, this term refers to these rather unusual underground caves in the Aisne department (and you will cross on your road): the military occupied them during the First World War.

Walk on foot? Exit cycling? If you do not manage to fall from agreement on the activity of the day, this loop early Balan could hold business. And for good reason: the path is completely practiced in two-wheeled vehicles. From the town hall square, first take over the management of Niévroz, following Plateron. In a Sunday drive or daily jogging, no need to concentrate on your itinerary: at least you don't risk losing yourself on the road! All the best, therefore, you can enjoy the panorama of Lake Blade, its fauna, flora and various banks. Several points of interest are also your circuit; among them, the Bird Museum at Neuville-sur-Blade, the memorial of the Chemin des Dames and the National Necropolis in Cerny-en-Laonnois, and the remains of the Old Cerny Church.

This gentle hike from Drom will take you to the ruins of the old Saint-Julien church only 3 kilometres away. The path is stable, secure, and evolves in pine and box vegetation. Easy to access, it is ideal for families looking for a nice outdoor exit. Starting from the church of the commune, hire on the right and follow the blue and white markup. Your journey also leads you to the church of Notre-Dame-des-Rhone and to the cross of Sainte-Julie, with beautiful views of Bourg-en-Bresse, La and Revermont.

For those who have had enough of overcrowded ski resorts: come and enjoy the pleasures of the snow in a setting devoid of any human presence. The Sauze area has 5 marked but ungroomed hiking trails in a preserved environment. Castevieil, meaning "old castle", was used by the Romans as a place of refuge and meeting: This is called a town, and its Celtic-type fortification is very characteristic.

This trail runs through the lands of the commune of Olcani, located on Cap Corse. In less than 4 kilometers and around 90 minutes of walking, it offers interesting discoveries, such as the San Quilicu chapel, as well as charming viewpoints. After passing the ruined sheepfold, you have two options: you can either branch off towards A bocca di Violu, or go directly to A bocca di A Sellula before turning around for the return journey.

At the boundary of the Regional Natural Park of La Plaine de la Plaine, visit the municipality of Anhiers, where nature réapproprie gradually, a former village of war-ravaged miners between 1914 and 1918. Today, there are old installations such as concrete headframe of 1920. The post-industrial atmosphere plunges us into this past of social struggle, before resuming the walk on the banks of the Scarpe.

He often chose the Provençal peasant world as his setting, and today it is we, the walkers, who take him as a pretext to discover Manosque and its surroundings. Jean Giono (1895-1970), a native of Manosque, has fascinated more than one reader in this charming Provencal town, and Jean-Louis Carribou is one of them. For several years now, this literary guide has been taking you, book in hand, in the footsteps and words of the writer. The hike takes on a suddenly poetic dimension: the words sublimate the landscape, unless it is the other way around...

Two tours in one! At the beginning of Brie, this divisible course in two parts pace up the area surrounding the town and the valley of Lavra. The first loop leaves south in a wooded area, while the second, in the east, climbs to the slopes of Terrefort, offering on the way an excellent views of the Pyrenees (at least weather permitting). If 8 km are too long walk for you, choose à la carte, the option that suits you best!

Enjoy 2,5 km from the banks of the Erdre, the clean woods of the «Black Ponds» and discover the history of the Castle of Port Mulon and its park. The latter, to which you will be able to reach a hundred-year-old tree-lined tree, will surprise the landscape owners most knowledgeable by the species that have elected them, such as chauves chauves or Virginia persimmon.

Less than 5 kilometers to walk to the history of the Languin Mines. Indeed, Nort-sur-Erdre was a coal mining site until 1863. Created on the traces of nortan culture, the Languin Mines circuit reconciles the walkway and its environment. After passing through the village of Plessis-Martin, you will have the opportunity to see a coal deposit that smacks of the earth, a large seventeenth century bourgeois house housed in the chapel of the Miners, an almost tri-centenary cedar of Lebanon and other curiosities that mark the course.

At the beginning of Breeding-sur-Artaut, this short hike takes you through vineyards, forests and plateaus to discover the historical and natural heritage of the town and its surroundings. The course also reserves one of the most beautiful panoramas in the department, and it falls well: The lookout has a few tables and benches to take full advantage of it!

The St. Eloi Trail will take you through the old railway line, along the small green and shady roads and pass through many villages.
