The Comité départemental de la hike du Maine-et-Loire organizes a Tour Challenge for experienced walkers, and a tour Challenge Discovery (8 to 12 km) for beginners and families (children are welcome!). With a team of 2 to 4 people, walkers must respond to mcq along their route by observing the fauna and flora but also the heritage of the region. It is a fun, sporty and cultural challenge. The famous long-distance hiking trail, the GR®21, which follows the coastline from Le Havre to Le Tréport, starts from here, at the Fort of Sainte-Adresse, on the heights of the Ocean city. From there, head east towards the Montgeon forest, then towards the Rouelles park. After 45 km of walking, you will come face to face with the Aiguille d'Étretat... And more if affinity... This is a very nice 8 kilometer hike in the undergrowth, with beautiful views of the Clain and Envigne valleys along the trails. All in all, a very pleasant walk for which you will be happy to have put on your sneakers! All you have to do is register early at Place Manderen for this refreshing walk. This hike is also available for mountain bikes and Gravel, with extra markers of course!

The M.I.C.I. are the Chronic Inflammatory Diseases of Intestine (pronounce MIKI), they correspond to Crohn's disease and R.C.H. for which there is currently no cure. Every year there are 200,000 sick and 20 new cases a day, and these numbers have been multiplied by 2 for more than 15 years… The MICI challenge invites you to run for the good cause by funding research against these diseases. This is a great opportunity to walk around the pleasant trails of the country.

The 39 ^th edition of the Cormatinoise offers several circuits around the municipality of Cormantin in the discovery of the local historic heritage and the green landscapes of Burgundy. Among those walks, 7 km is accessible to all.

The Bois des Forts is the green lung of the agglomeration of Dunkirk. You can discover it through its many trails, a nice opportunity to stretch your legs, but also to observe the different species of birds used to the site.

The Sentier de l'Adour is a 130 km hiking trail along the river. The route crosses 28 communes, alternating between left and right banks. There are several sections to choose from: Dax and Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Candresse and Hinx, Préchacq-les-Bains and Gousse... The Adour trail leads from Toulouzette to Saint-Sever, then from Augreilh to Péré to Montgaillard. In short, there's a lot of walking to be done!

Close to the majestic Grand Mont, the Lacs de la Tempête offer an unforgettable experience where the splendour of the lakes rewards every step. The excursion lasts approximately 4 hours. Departure is from the Saint-Guérin dam, perched at an altitude of almost 1,600 metres. At the start, the waymarked path rises towards the Col de la Louze, culminating at over 2,100 meters, then your route continues to the right. You'll need to cross a scree slope, guided by cairns. At the pass, the first lake is revealed, offering a breathtaking panorama.

On the program, hiking and art of living. This structure offers to lovers of wide open spaces moments of escape and peace. Florence Chalandon, mountain guide, will guide you in the forest of Saou, her base camp, but also on other sites in the Drôme and elsewhere. In her catalog, she offers walking yoga, a nomadic yoga created in 2011 with a therapeutic objective, which also consists of a simple active walk, instructive, lively, playful and conscious. A yogic walk that would boost our immunity.

This 10 km tour (about 3 h 20) leads you to discover the site of the Btaille de la Peene (1677 ° at the foot of Mount Kassel. It borrows many small country roads where traffic is not very important.

Starting from the Bois des Anglais, the path gradually rises to reach the ridges. This route of almost 9 km highlights the work of the painter Emmanuel de La Villéon (1848-1944). Of Breton origin, he lived from 1900 to 1936 in a mansion in the hamlet of Salvard, in the commune of Bitry. A fervent admirer of Monet, he adopted most of the characteristics of Impressionism. Punctuated with panels containing reproductions of the bocage poyaudin and commentaries, this loop allows you to observe the places painted by the artist.

A short path (10 minutes) starts under the Caramel viaduct and leads to a climbing site. A panorama where mountains and river meanders mix, in the heart of the Somme, a small path on the hillside where some greedy goats graze: this is the program offered by this charming, impromptu and unexpected hike! As you walk, from one panorama to another, you will discover a surprising wilderness, where water cohabits with stone. Take your time during the crossing of the Larris (which can be slippery when the local rain comes).

This 9 km long circuit, which takes a good two hours to complete, offers you a nice breath of fresh air. From Gravelines, walk along the river Aa via the Chenal dike to the beach of Petit-Fort-Philippe and its lighthouse, which you can visit in the afternoon. Then take the road again to find yourself in the Polder Park. A short tour through the green belt around the walled city and you are back at the starting point.

The start of this 45-minute walk is in the village of Furiani, south of Bastia. Go up the main road and turn right towards the cemetery. The start of the walk is signposted "Capella Santa Maria". Tradition has it that the ruins near the chapel were once a hermitage. Dating from the ^9th century, the chapel is a listed historic monument. To enter the building, ask for the key at Furiani village hall.

Marseille is the European Sports Capital 2017 and on this occasion some 26 associations affiliated with the hiking federation offer free walks from March 1 to April 2018, and are open to all. They will take place throughout the department of Bouches du Rhône and will be facilitated by professional volunteer guides. More than 80 hikes will be in the programme, but also 3 Nordic steps and a walk on the GR® 42 to discover the Camargue.

Transformed into a "voie verte", this former railroad line offers an ideal setting for a pleasant bike ride, guiding you from Brives-Charensac to Solignac-sur-Loire (850 m above sea level). Spread over 13.8 km, the gentle 2% gradient makes for an easy ascent. You'll cross a 184 m viaduct and five illuminated tunnels, some of which are up to 1.5 km long, creating impressive and refreshing zones in summer. The route offers views of the Loire Valley, Mont Mézenc and Mont Meygal.

Set off from the forest house for a short hike. The Bois de Ballon trail owes its name to the first successful balloon crossing of the English Channel by aeronaut Jean-Piette Blanchard in 1785. He set off from Dover and landed on the edge of the Guînes state forest; the Blanchard column commemorates this event. Along the way, you'll find an adventure course with monkey bridges, giant swings and a 120-metre zip line!

Accessible to all, the sentier de la Colonne is a hike that plunges you into the Denacre valley, which is full of beautiful 19th century mansions and manor houses built of Baincthun stone. Farms, ponds and waterfalls also decorate this 8 km long trail. Don't miss the famous column of the Grande Armée, a 53-metre-high marble monument erected to the glory of Napoleon. It immortalizes the camp of Boulogne where 18,000 men were assembled by the emperor to prepare the invasion of England.

Mount Pelé, culminating at an altitude of 200 meters, and its neighbor Mount Hulin, dominate the commune of Desvres and the entire Boulonnais bocage. Starting from the parking lot of the Maison de la Céramique, the walk takes the hikers in a humid and shaded environment made of trees and shrubs as well as numerous streams. Once exploited for its chalk by the Société des Ciments de France, it is now returned to nature. Count 1h30 of hiking (3 km). There is an extension of the trail towards the town of Menneville to go to the Hulin mount (4,5 km).
