The fat markets, a popular and gastronomic tradition well anchored in the Landes. From April to October, local producers offer their flagship products directly on the markets: foie gras, whole geese and ducks, gizzards, confits, duck breasts... Among the best known fat markets, head for Dax (Saturday morning, from November to March), Villeneuve-de-Marsan (Wednesday morning, from October to April), Peyrehorade (Wednesday morning, from November to mid-March), Mont-de-Marsan (Tuesday and Saturday morning) or Saint-Sever (Saturday morning). Since 2021 in November, the Metropole of Montpellier has been organizing Les Rencontres Vigneronnes to showcase the region's producers. In the past, this gourmet event was called "Les Estivales" and was held in Montpellier city center. O'Millésimes has now been relocated to the magnificent Domaine d'O, so you can enjoy a toast in the open air, but a little cooler! This gastronomic festival takes place over two weekends in the summer, and all lovers of local produce will gather for tastings and concerts, a night market teeming with tasty local dishes and wines, crafts, meetings, conferences and workshops.

This event invites you to discover all the specialities of the Canal du Midi region, from Carcassonne to Sète. During this gourmet event, you'll be able to taste not only the best wines, but also the finest products: honey, truffles, foie gras, melon, oysters, shellfish and more, among the hundreds of culinary specialities produced on the banks of the Canal. And don't forget that this is a solidarity event to benefit the replanting of the Canal du Midi with Voies Navigables de France.

The Coteaux de Quercy Wine Festival brings together the winegrowers of the Coteaux de Quercy to promote their wines in a convivial atmosphere. You're invited to taste the local vintages and, after the Confrérie's induction of new members, you and your family can enjoy a range of activities: demonstrations of ancient crafts, archery, children's workshops, giant and traditional wooden games, inflatable games, a culinary workshop and, last but not least, the aperitif-concert!

Artisans and producers from the Tarn region invite you to discover their delicious products at the Fête des Tarnivores in Albi! These two days of festivities in the heart of the city are an opportunity not only to highlight the work of all these enthusiasts, but also to taste the best local products: wines, beers, charcuterie and meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, jams, ready-made meals... In Limogne-en-Quercy, basket markets are part of the truffle tradition, and this event offers lovers of this rare gem the chance to fill their baskets. Summer truffles don't have the same culinary value as winter black truffles, and are less expensive. Enthusiasts know that they're a delight on salted butter toast as an aperitif or in an omelette! The appointment is at 10 a.m. sharp, because sales start immediately and it sometimes happens that everything is sold out within a few minutes!

France is no slouch when it comes to cheeses, but the whole world is full of them! Tourangeaux are in luck, as Tours has been hosting the Mondial du Fromage et des produits laitiers for several years now. The event takes place in the large halls of the Parc des Expositions, hosting hundreds of exhibitors and producers. Cheese lovers will be delighted to wander the aisles, discovering products from all over the world and the latest innovations. The program includes evening tastings, a competition for the best cheesemaker and other events.

Every year, the ODG des Vins de Beaune organizes the Saint Vincent de Beaune event. On Saturday March 23, the event will take place at the Musée du Vin, in the Hôtel des Ducs de Bourgogne. A day of tastings of Beaune wines by Beaune's wine houses and estates. Baptiste Guyot presides over the Saint Vincent de Beaune and the ODG of the Beaune appellation, which, with its 415 ha, deserves to be better known. A Beaune permit has been created as a 40-question quiz, to give a broad idea of what wine is, and to better understand this appellation, which is the largest in the Côte d'Or.

During the first half of August, the Fiera di u Pane (Bread Fair) is held in Lumio. As a staple food in Corsica as elsewhere, bread is celebrated in a warm and welcoming summer setting. On the programme: farmers and bakers will talk about their passion and demonstrate their know-how, there will be concerts and entertainment for the youngest. It will also be an opportunity to try making bread on site. A moment to enjoy!

Organized by the Heritage Association, the festival of hemp is the work of passionate people, thanks to a great mobilization of volunteers. Here we welcome the public to explain in all directions today's hemp: stands of artisans offering hemp products, local crafts (beautiful clothing lines), but also companies specialized in construction and insulation based on this natural product.

Every year, Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée organizes the Oursinade de Thau, a gourmet and popular festival in March. From the Place Léon Blum to the Rue Gambetta via the Rue de Strasbourg, some forty exhibitors come to present the region's terroir and delight the taste buds of shellfish, sea urchins and other seafood lovers. The atmosphere is convivial, punctuated by concerts, and other local culinary specialties are also honored such as the brasucade, the tielles and other ancestral or more contemporary recipes.

Since 2015, Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée has been organizing the Estivales de Thau, a gourmet agrotourism event. On this territory labeled "Vignobles & Découvertes", this event highlights the richness and know-how of local wine and shellfish producers. Every Thursday evening in July and August, people come to the heart of the villages to discover tasting stands, wines and local products. A great way to savor the treasures of the area in a festive and musical atmosphere.

Since 1996, on the fourth weekend of October, the winegrowers of Auxey-Duresses organise - via the winegrowers' union of this winegrowing village located a stone's throw from Beaune - a big festival called Coup d'oeil, Coup de Coeur. The principle is simple: about twenty professionals open their doors to the public for a walk through the vineyards (this is the Coup d'oeil). A good opportunity to discover the local wines but also to appreciate some gourmet specialities and admire some craft exhibitions. It's a guaranteed "Coup de Coeur"!

Every year in mid-September, since 1994, Vartan has been hosting a two-day event on the theme of the green Berry lentil, an iconic product of the Centre-Val de Loire region. On the programme: farmer's market, tasting of local dishes, cooking competitions, traditional dance demonstrations and workshops for children. Saturday evening closes with a dance party, and on Sunday there's a concert! A joyful way to immerse yourself in the customs of Berry.

For more than 20 years, the village of La Haye-de-Routot, in the northwestern part of the Eure department, has been struggling every even year to promote the benefits of nettle with unexpected recipes and variations of the perennial plant. Organized by the associations "Friends of Nettle" and "Living Lands", the festival celebrates its favourite plant and wild herbs. This event thus makes it possible to present all the uses of nettle, but also those of many plants unknown to the general public, who have come in ever-increasing numbers over the years.

In Hellemmes, you can celebrate the festival and the Festival des Popotes Roller proves this. Created by the Mayor in 2016, this original festival brings together food-trucks and a great musical scene within the Engrand park. What better than good music and street food to celebrate late summer? On the music side, the town hall selected artists found on the net or at local festivals. The program? Pop rock, new wave, hard rock… there are for all tastes. Not forgetting the tributes paid to the largest rock and pop groups, some of them are not missed, for their side resolutely décalé! Side flavours, you will travel. New York hot dogs, pizza, Breton cakes, grilled cheeses, revisited cheeses, etc. And it will of course be sprayed with beer from the collective All Hops, which also breaststroke a 100% hellemmoise beer! The last weekend of November promises to be a festive one for Souvignargues. It is indeed a friendly gathering (with a fanfare and music) of winegrowers who share the same desire to produce natural and organic wines. What is the objective of this weekend? Share in a good mood the passion for viticulture without inputs or pesticides, taste and support each other. Do not hesitate: the meetings are interesting and committed!

Here is an atypical culinary contest that takes place in a joyful, friendly and festive atmosphere. It is the great intergalactic contest of brasucades which highlights the know-how and the emblematic regional products. The famous Muscatel wine in particular is featured, and we enjoy ourselves in a good mood. The participants in the contest start preparing and cooking their brasucades. Then the tastings are open to the public to choose the winner who then takes home the trophy: a giant mussel. We love it!

A festival created to highlight the thousand-year-old link between the city and its vineyard and its famous Muscat de Frontignan. This event brings together professionals and amateurs in a very friendly atmosphere. For one day, the historic city center becomes a large market of typical tastes and flavors of the region. It is the ideal place to discover and taste all the muscats of Frontignan with gourmet workshops, small chefs workshops, exhibitions, games and animations for children.

Once again, Corsica invites itself to Bordeaux for a week. On the program of festivities dedicated to the Isle of Beauty, meetings with about twenty producers, tastings of all kinds, evenings, laughter, sharing, creative discoveries, as well as concerts. The association Toulouse à Table organizes culinary events throughout the year, but Le Grand Banquet is the event of the year! Every year, the village of Vauchassis has been organizing a cider festival for 47 years. The appointment is known to apple lovers: tasting, crafts, presence of the Apple Sketchers Association, local products… It's mostly an opportunity for you to buy cider straight from the press, to eat quickly, but can also serve apple jelly. To your ideas! A nice meeting around heritage and taste.

Organized by Les Fermiers de l'Aveyron, the Marchés Gourmands de Saint-Affrique take place on Thursday evenings in the town's public gardens. Over forty local producers and craftsmen are on hand to share their traditional know-how. From 6 p.m. onwards, stop by the producers' stalls to fill your plate with farm produce cooked on the spot. These tasty evenings, punctuated by musical entertainment, will let you discover Aveyron gastronomy in just a few mouthfuls!

What an original party! At the end of October, Les Gens de la Soupe invite you to come and celebrate soups and broths, because "a feast warms the heart, a soup warms the body". The festival features a wide range of events, including collective peeling, soup making and tasting, bowl sales, soup hikes, lectures, film screenings, a farmers' market, soup competitions, "apérisoupe", a traditional dance and concerts... During the weekend, you can even take part in the soup perch: climb a tree (in complete safety!) and enjoy your soup from high up!

This traditional annual festive event in Audresselles takes place on June 18 and 19 and combines entertainment and gastronomy. The center of the village comes alive with the sound of music and dance steps. The restaurants do not miss the appointment and deploy their terraces while the crab sellers present their most beautiful products of the sea. An exhibition of flobarts presents the fishing techniques practiced on the coast. We discover the local maritime crafts, but above all, during this festive weekend, the good crab is sold by the bucketful!
