Day 1: Manila, the historical center

Steps: Manille, Samal Island

In the morning, walk along Manila Bay to Rizal Park. This bay is one of the favorite places of the Filipinos for Sunday walks. You can rub shoulders with the people and see the monument erected in honor of the national hero, Dr. Rizal. In the afternoon, visit the Intra-muros district to soak up the Spanish colonial way of life. It is necessary to walk on the Plaza San Luiz where cafés, restaurants and shops are installed. In the evening, after a final stroll along Manila Bay to watch the sunset, head for Malate or Makati, two of the capital's liveliest neighbourhoods.

Day 2: Manila, from the Chinese cemetery to Makati

Steps: Banaue, Manille

Visit of the Chinese cemetery, which is a city within the city: it extends over 40 hectares and the tombs are real houses. Some of them are even equipped with telephone, toilets, air conditioning... In the afternoon, visit the Malate andErmita neighborhoods which extend south of Rizal Park. A little further, in Paranaque, discover the Philippine Cultural Center (PCC) which houses the National Opera and the Museo ng Kalinangang Pilipino dedicated to the art and way of life of various ethnic groups. There are many exhibitions and concerts. On the way back to the city center, make a well-deserved stop in the Makati district, which will not fail to seduce shopping lovers with an incredible concentration of shopping malls. In the evening, take the night bus to Banaue (10 hours trip).

CIMETIÈRE CHINOIS / PARC RIZAL

Day 3: Banaue

Arrival early in the morning, choice of a guesthouse and contact with a guide to organize a 3 days trek. Hike to the viewpoints of the rice fields classified as World Heritage by Unesco.

Day 4: Banaue-Pula-Cambulo

First day of hiking through the rice terraces and arrival in the tiny village of Cambulo for a very authentic experience. Overnight stay at a local's house.

Day 5: Cambulo-Batad

Steps: Batad

Trekking in the rice fields for an arrival in the magnificent and peaceful village of Batad in the center of an amphitheatre of rice terraces. Magical.

Day 6: Batad-Banaue

Steps: Banaue, Sagada

Hiking to the village of Bagaan and Jeepney return for Banaue. Then we re-use his backpack to go to Sagada in Jeepney. Night in the quiet village of Sagada.

Day 7: Sagada

Steps: Sagada

Discover the caves of Sagada and visit Echo Valley to see the coffins hanging on the walls of the mountain.

Day 8: Sagada-Bontoc-Vigan

Steps: Vigan, Bontoc, Sagada

Walk around Sagada before taking a Jeepney for Bontoc, visiting its museum and then bus to Vigan.

Day 9: Vigan

Steps: Vigan

Rest and visit of the beautiful colonial town of Vigan.

Day 10: En route to Palawan

Steps: Vigan, Puerto Princesa, Manille

Flight from Vigan to Puerto Princesa (Palawan) with stopover in Manila. Walk and night in the city.

Day 11: Sabang

Steps: Sabang, Puerto Princesa

Excursion to the day in Sabang (underground river) and return to Puerto Princesa, or night in Sabang.

Day 12: Sabang-El Nido

Steps: El Nido

Reach the north of the island by boat or by bus. The landscapes are magnificent. Night in El Nido.

Day 13: El Nido en banca

Tour by banca (the traditional Filipino boat) from island to island in the archipelago to discover the lagoons ofMiniloc Island. Tour of northern Palawan by scooter, stopping at the secret and paradisiacal Duli Beach.

Day 14: El Nido and the Bacuit Archipelago

Steps: Manille

Kayak and snorkeling in the islands of the archipelago of Bacuit. Then, plane returned to Manila.
