Day 1: Day in Beirut
Steps: Beyrouth
The city center and its pedestrian streets offer a pleasant stroll. The National Museum gathers the archaeological wonders of the country. A walk at sunset on the cornice along the sea is highly recommended. The Pigeon cave in Raouché reveals a site of great beauty. You can start the evening in one of the restaurants of Hamra and finish the day with a good local beer in a bar of Gemmayze or Mar Mikhael.
Day 2: Archaeological remains and natural beauties
The caves of Jeita are extraordinary natural treasures. Byblos is one of the oldest cities in the world. The archaeological site carries 10 000 years of history. The old town of Byblos and its small harbour are pleasant.

Day 3: Culinary discovery in Tripoli
The The of Tripoli are a maze of lanes in the thousand colours and scents. The castle of Saint Gilles shows the passage of the crusaders. Tripoli is also a culinary destination. At breakfast, you can start the day with a fatté and then at noon enjoy a fish in a restaurant in El Mina.
Day 4: Visit of the city of God Sun
Direction the Bekaa plain (if safe conditions allow!). Baalbek, the city of the God Sun Baal, is the most beautiful site in Lebanon. It is unthinkable to miss it. The temples of Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus built under the Roman Empire are wonders. Anjar keeps the remains of the Umayyad Dynasty, the first dynasty of Islam.
Day 5: Saida, remnant of past civilizations
Saida's old town offers many cultural and architectural attractions. The sea castle of the crusaders, the soap museum, the Debanné palace built in 1721, and the Khan el-Franj are to be discovered. The Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine ruins of Tyre testify to the richness of this former commercial city. We finish the day on Tyre beach or enjoy a fish on the old harbour.

Day 6: Escape in the Kadisha Valley
Steps: Les Cèdres, Tannourine
Direction the Vallée valley and its monasteries built in the rock. In the afternoon a walk in the Cèdres forest is required.

Day 7: Discovering the life of the emirs
Steps: Deir El-Qamar, Beiteddine
Day trip to the Chouf region. Deir el Qamar is a charming little village which was the residence of the Maan emirs from the 16th to the 17th century. Synthesis of all the architectural currents in Lebanon, the palace of Beiteddine is a marvel.
