On the summer terrace, you'll find regional beers - 25 craft and organic breweries within a 200 km radius - and a selection of organic wines, as well as solid dishes made from local, raw, seasonal produce. In this little street of the Croix-Rousse, Futé saw this Comptoir Sauvage appear with undisguised joy. In the big family of coffee shops, here - at last - is the organic version that will do us good. Run by charming women who know how to cook perfectly, Comptoir Sauvage is a tea room that thinks as much about our environment (no gaspi and waste with the possibility of taking away in its own container), our well-being (gluten-free option, 100% vegetable) as it does about the pleasure of our taste buds. Hot and cold drinks, vegetable milk smoothies, fresh seasonal products and successful home-made recipes. Healthy address noticed by Le Futé.

A Cat Café is a tea room with different decors where cats roam freely. Let's say immediately that Comptoir du Gentlecat, first of all, takes care of the well being of its cats, which is paramount, and that it obtained the DDPP's agreement of the Rhone and a certificate from the Veterinary School. So the 7 cats are at their home (after a painful disappearance…), on their territory, and they let's contemplate, stroke and play with them at their convenience... Relaxation, rest, tranquillity, well being, this address is much more than a tea room as one can confirm it nowadays. There are some rules however: 10 commandments are to be respected to behave with cats. Let's not forget that we also came here to drink (coffee grounded on the spot, chocolates, a very beautiful selection of teas signed Comptoir du Gentlecat with more than 80 references!) and if you'd like to eat something with delicacies to savour: cookies, muffins, doughnuts, cakes, pastries. A bar for pleasantly purring.

An unexpected destination, to say the least. In this historic district with its exposed stonework, a lush jungle setting in the heart of the city for eating, drinking and listening. Every evening, and on weekends at lunchtime, with a daily special, dishes and fun to share. There's even a brunch club that fills up fast (reservations required). But in this atypical setting, our favorite feature is the wine list created in collaboration with Antic Wine. Méliné and Damien, two enthusiasts of natural wines and good food, have set up shop near Place Carnot to open a new concept in Lyon: a wine bar specializing in natural and biodynamic wines from around the world, to be tasted with made-to-measure boards. At Chenin N20, it's up to you to compose your own plank, according to your desires and budget, selecting from among the best artisanal, local or regional products. A 100% personalized service for a unique experience. Two rooms and two stories worthy of a Stephen King novel with Amy, the horror version that will make you jump, and The Creature, the survival version in a world of darkness. All this is strongly advised against sensitive people, because you will become the "hero" of a real horror movie...

In our tiny living room, we really missed this Petit Salon. We even missed this neighborhood nestled along a railroad line in the ^7th arrondissement! In this nightlife spot, lovers of electro music, but also lovers of disco in another style, gather in two rooms with totally different decorations. One room is high-tech and contemporary, with images that punctuate the music. The other is decorated in the Empire style. A highly specialized program featuring the crème de la crème of DJs and musicians. Le Petit Salon also hosts exhibitions.

Tchangodei sometimes lets his fingers run over the piano to treat the regulars to his compositions. Unjustly unknown jazzman, this Beninese by origin and Lyonnais by adoption, has participated in about twenty albums. In his establishment, of which you have to become a symbolically contributing member, the hours don't count and you come out in the early morning, drunk with music and fresh (or almost) as a rose.

A Phantom who appears every evening in the long Rue Royale to invite us to follow him into his cosy den or onto the small summer terrace. For six years now, Papas Sucrés has been pampering us from Wednesday to Sunday, bruncheurs' day! A delightful tearoom in the Ainay district, near Bellecour, to spoil us with delicious products. Cakes made on site by Grégory behind the stove. Tasty toasts, well-composed salads and delicious 100% homemade cakes that give pleasure with every bite. A succession of delights to share. The other dad in the dining room is Jonathan. When was the last time you laughed at a show? Head for the Complexe, where you'll be looked after by a smiling team. Here, the show begins before the show, with a glass of sangria and a few tapas. You can eat, drink, chat and even fizz while waiting for the show to start, whether you're in the upstairs or downstairs room. Excellent programming with a strong comedic bent, to be followed on the Complexe website. In the same vein as the famous Boui-Boui, this café-theater under the direction of Stéphane Casez is in a way the cousin of the Croix-Rousse. Opened more than 10 years ago in a former bakery on the plateau, the Rideau Rouge has a small air-conditioned room where people like to come with friends to see a wide variety of shows, happily mixing 100% Lyon comedies and prestigious headliners. The Rideau Rouge has teamed up with the neighboring Café de la Soie to offer complete evenings of dinner and show with an all-inclusive formula. When the Red Curtain rises on the Croix-Rousse, laughter is guaranteed between friends.

Place Sathonay is one of our favourite spots to take a cool break in summer. An air of Provence blows under the big trees and the sheltered terrace of this tea room/glacier/pastry shop makes us enjoy it with discretion and greediness. On the tip of your tongue, it's an address to share to enjoy homemade products: ice creams and sorbets inspired by flavours from here and elsewhere, with creations that never fail to amaze us. Crazy ice cream sundaes. Other pleasures to savour, pastries and other bugnes in season, always made on site. Snack break, crêpes, pancakes and brunch in the same spirit of freshness and quality.

If you think that a good bar, is a place where to redo the world among friends, without being obliged to ruin in consumption, then L'Apostrophe will ring you somewhere. Let us say it right now: the plant is more than approximate. But the atmosphere is quiet. We hear about it. Customers are a mix of used and strategy games. Lyon's go club has been elected here and the go stones go out of the cupboards on Thursday evening, from 20 h 30 until marre and Saturday from 16 pm. By the price of the alléché pressure, the students can get there easily on the weekend. Pressure, quite rightly, can rise to many. Soda, the first bar that made us want to drink cocktails before anyone else. At La Martinière, Soda features a team of bartenders who know how to mix! You book your time online and download an application that will guide you through the game. An old grimoire was found during the renovation of the Hôtel-Dieu. It contains 3 riddles that have never been solved! The route goes through shady streets which is ideal in summer but it also takes you through the grandiose scenery of one of the most beautiful buildings of the peninsula of Lyon.

The Star Ferry, a tribute to a ferry sailing on the side of Hong Kong. On Quais du Rhône, the Star Ferry is typically a seasonal address, opening with the sun, closing with the first cold and big storms in summer. From the very first sunny days, beer flows like water in what it's agreed to call a beer garden, with a choice of 80 bottled beers and no less than 12 draught ones! A mandatory terrace to sit and enjoy the homemade specialty, burgers. Sandwiches that are themed, even exotic, composed of honourable ingredients, but with meat always overcooked to our taste. Although the fries are crispy to eat, chewing the burger can be complicated. Come on, take a beer to get it through… No desserts, except ice-creams. At the end of the day, the burger/beer comes back at about twenty euros, for a hardly adequate quality and a service that is extended (it's not easy to satisfy the desires of the entire terrace on a summer evening) but remains smiling. A half-tone address that allows you to spend pleasant moments on the banks of the Rhône.

Espace Gerson, a name that sounds like an evidence when you think "shows" in Lyon. More than 30 years of existence for a room of 120 seats and stands with an unobstructed view on the stage, a very nice associative bar. An easily accessible stage in the old town of Lyon where about fifty comedy shows are usually performed every year. The Espace Gerson is a must of the Lyon's theater-café with the Plateaux de Gerson and young comedians who come to present a part of their show the last Mondays of each month.

Lulu has set up shop at Jean Macé. Lulu does us so much good, even more so in these times of "crises" in the plural, with its program of comedies full of madness to share. A colorful, cheerful theater, in the image of Renaud Gairard, the reopened head acrobat who decided to bring these walls back to life with a beautiful 180-seat auditorium and a table to enjoy along with the audience's comments. A place dedicated to comedy and laughter, to revivals of classic texts and to the most unusual creations, can only be salutary at a time when the performing arts need our support. Let's have fun with Lulu!

According to our French taste, Starbucks does not always offer the "best coffee in the world" and we will stubbornly continue to defend the "Café Comptoir", the "little black" in the morning with the unequalled taste when shared with friends. Because can we really share in Wi-Fi mode behind your laptop, even on a comfortable seat? It's up to you. For the rest, it's possible to fall for the craft coffees that you can personalize by adding some "extras" which also incur some additional charges. Without doubt the bar with the most offbeat ambience, which can bring tears of joy to our eyes with its communication and cocktails that don't get drunk anywhere else. It has to be said that the cheerful team - re-titled La Mannschaft - unearths ingredients that are as good as they are surprising. Lyon's first private theater, launched on January 17, 1980, and run by Pascal Héritier and Bruno Davanzo. The current venue on avenue de Saxe can accommodate 371 spectators between two confinements, and is often sold out.
