In restaurants and bars, in grocery stores and wine shops, the Apothecary's Drink, little by little, disseminates its elixirs. The packaging evokes a medicine from ancient times, but the aromas set the tone: mint-lemon, verbena or blueberry-ginger. Made in the Forez Mountains from organically grown ingredients with a low sugar content, these digestives come in different bottle sizes, from the large container to the box of small bottles "Le trio de l'apothicaire", for the pleasure of discovery. The Domaine du Couzan was born of a man's passion for wine, Frédéric Murat. He chose to settle here more than ten years ago. For those who do not yet know the place, it covers a surface of 2,9 hectares composed predominantly of AOC Côtes-du-forez (red and rosé) and a large parcel of Chardonnay wine in the country of Urfé. The specialities of the house are the Cuvée Alexis, a deep purple ruby red, which delivers powerful aromas of red fruits where the shades of volcanic stone blend with the Cuvée and the Humanity, a rosé of a very fruity, round in mouth with a small incisive note. Here are some wines that can greatly seduce your guests during a dinner!

The Neron family's vineyard covers 12 hectares, divided into three terroirs. La Rochette which has 6 hectares of vines on a single plot, planted with the Gamay Saint-Romain grape variety, the oldest vines are 80 years old, Bératard, an exceptional terroir, part of which is planted with the Chardonnay grape variety on a terrace, and La Combe, this plot planted in 1998 required clearing of the forest to replant the Gamay Saint-Romain grape variety, on slopes of more than 25 %. Eight vintages are produced from these terroirs, in rosé, white and red.

From the visit of the vine to that of the wine cellars, you will be able to capture the "Terra Vitis" approach and discover the different stages of winemaking. At the end of the visit, you will go to the cellar for a tasting of rosé and red wines accompanied by a meal dish. At the heart of this educational farm, groups of children will be able to discover the development of the physiological stages of the plant, as well as the work of the vine grower and go to discover sweet, salty, bitter and acidic flavours before tasting grape juice. The Malleval distillery was created in 1960 by Marius Paret. It still exists over 50 years later! Today, Mrs Morfin and Mr Columbus bought the distillery (now known as Distillerie distillery) but the method of operation is the same. According to the artisanal tradition, the spirits and spirits of the Pilat and the Rhone Valley are still decorated in the same way: apricot, apple, Williams pear (of course), raspberry, mirabelle, kirsch, mirabell, country or chestnut (under the name "La Châtaignette"). With old stills dating from the beginning of the century, these delicious beverages are ideal for aperitif and as a digestive!

Which beer to choose? This question may seem trivial. However, it is not so simple to choose the ideal drink, especially when you want to discover new flavors. The vineyard is divided mainly on steep slopes exposed south. The wine cellars is located on a hill at the exit of the visible village thanks to the Lapendery inscription on the roof. The work of the vine is carried out mainly by hand, which makes the mechanization difficult. This red wine comes from a fruity, fruity vine for AOC Côte Roannaise in different vintages, and a little Pinot noir marketed under the name of Pays country wine. In July, a production of cassis (fruit) is also proposed.

Château Grillet, a mythical terroir for all wine lovers. An appellation in itself for this 3.5 hectare estate in the communes of Vérin and Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône. Located on a steep terrace, this south-facing vineyard has existed since Roman times. The wine is made exclusively from Viognier. This rich, peachy, apricot-scented wine can be aged for several years. The vineyards of the Domaine de Philippe Peulet represent eight islands spread over 5 hectares, with the gamay planted on granite arenas as a conductor. For example, each year, there is a rosé of rosé and two or three vintages of red. The rosé Porphyry resulting from bloodletting of all the red vats, even the old vines, is fruity, fleshy and balanced. Granites Red, fruit, fruit, fruit… and minéralité. The red les Bonichons was born of an intuition during a visit on this hillside to the evocative name, there was a house that housed the nurses of the commune. Exposed south on a deep sandy soil where quartz outcrops emerge, the Bonichons give a fleshy wine with ripe fruits that can be fully found after 2 to 3 years. Red Les Moines Noir, exceptional wine, because produced only in the best years. Selection of two plots of 60 and over 100 years, he wants to be structured, full and high in barrels to round it. Those who have the patience to wait 4 years will enjoy intense pleasure.

"Beers made in Sainté! ". All the breweries in Saint-Etienne closed some fifty years ago, but today beer is making a strong comeback in the region. Here, you'll find delicious craft beers that everyone loves, such as Glüttes and Copains-Chopines. Every month, 20,000 liters of beer are brewed to produce more than 10 different beers. Proof of the success and excellence of our beverages, La Machurée has even been awarded a Fourquet d'argent (national beer competition).

Isabelle and Simon Hawkins offer their wines to the old Du domain. The tradition in the Tradition of the Gamay grape reflects the traditional style of wines in the region: perfect wine of thirst, pleasure, rolling, without aspérité with the special contribution of the Domaine in the old wine-making of a wine of a natural land. La Cuvée À l'Ancienne, this rosé is at the opposite of the traditional "lively" rosé rose from gamay. Alain Baillon offers you the rosé of Ambierle (rosé rosé), Cuvée "Magnet" (obtained by carbonic maceration) and Cuvée "Montplaisir" (from old vines). You knew the Sapinette, here is the Serpolette! This wild thyme liqueur, at 25° of alcohol, completes the offer of Maison 16. Located in the heart of the Forez region, this producer makes his home-made liqueurs from hand-picked organic plants. This is also the case for the fir buds and needles that go into the composition of the Sapinette, the house's first liqueur, created in 2019. Maison 16's products are not sold directly to the consumer, but are available in many wine shops and delicatessens in the region, to contribute to the dynamism of local commerce. Located in the town of Chavanay, Sarl les Vins de Vienne is a must for wine lovers. With its address in the Zone d'Activités, Jassoux, it is easily accessible. However, it's important to note that opening times are subject to change, so check before you go.

The vineyards of Domaine du Pavillon extend over 9 hectares spread over a land of granite arenas, south-east exposure, which promotes the maturity of grapes and vines. Harvesting is done manually. Eric Villeneuve worthy successor of Maurice Lutz and his former Clos du Pavillon produces a formidable roannaise red old vineyards 2009 very rich and complete with soft tannins that coat a body together and an excellent 2009-, bold and shiny roannaise coast. As for the roannaise 2008 coast, in red, with its aromas of cassis and its beautiful mineral accents is also to be discovered.

The heights around Saint-Étienne harbor incredible resources. The two founders of La Source Distillerie exploit the plants of these Auvergne hills to create local spirits. Two gentian-based aperitifs, "La petite soeur" and "La grande soeur", appeal to Suze lovers. A highly original pastis forézien has also been added to the range. Elderberry, raspberry and vine peach wines complete the range. La Source Distillerie has also turned its attention to digestifs, notably with L'Instant forézien. Local resources have enabled the production of 100% local vinegars and mustards, as well as delicious honeys and royal jelly.

In a few years, Sébastien Forissier has dusted off the verbena cultivated in the past in Forez. A dazzling success that led him to double his production. With his Verveine du Forez, he has brought the "grandfather's liqueur" up to date. Wild verbena, lemongrass, officinal, all are labeled organic and grown in open fields without pesticides, picked and trimmed by hand. The maceration is done without coloring agents or preservatives, the product is less alcoholic for an authentic and artisanal liqueur mixing power and freshness. Many starred chefs, wine merchants, delicatessens and restaurants display it on their menus and new products are regularly created.

Cédric Brisson opened a wine cellar and bar in Saint-Galmier in 2015. He offers for sale more than 350 references of wines and spirits of which you can taste a selection on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, around a slate of cheeses and charcuterie. Oenological evenings, for a maximum of 14 people, including the tasting of 7 to 8 wines, followed by a hot dish and a dessert cooked at the Charpinière, are proposed and the cellar can even be privatized for your private events. In short, a beautiful stone cellar to highlight!

Domaine de l'Herboriste is an artisan distillery located in the heart of the Pilat Natural Park. Thomas Pachalgikian wanted to create a range of exceptional liqueurs and spirits. He offers a gin scented with citrus notes, and three delicious liqueurs, with thyme, rosemary and sapinette. The recipes are worked in such a way that honey replaces sugar. The estate will open its doors to visitors in spring 2024, with organized workshops.

Already present at Les Halles Mazérat, Marcon opened its cellar at the end of 2022 along the A72 motorway in Saint-Etienne. This is the seventh store for the Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid-based company, following those in Le Puy-en-Velay and Paris, among others. The cellar offers over a thousand references of meticulously selected wines. You'll also find spirits and champagnes. The 350 m² establishment features a wine bar, ideal for wine tastings accompanied by a board, as well as a delicatessen featuring local products.

Since 1903, the Pioteyry cellars have welcomed you to La Fouillouse.
