The reputation of the Jullien Frères establishments created in 1899 is well established. When you enter this cellar, you will find a large choice of wines, champagnes and spirits. Thus, in front of your eyes, you will be able to see several hundreds of bottles. And there is something for every budget and every taste: from organic to small wines, through great wines. In short, whether you are a novice or an amateur of these beverages, you will be able to choose the bottle that best suits your desires and that will satisfy your taste buds.

The name is a bit technical: a cempote is a barrel with a capacity of about 104 litres. The same one that can be found on the sign of the establishment! In Châteaucreux, the Cempote is above all two areas: on one side a well-stocked wine and spirits cellar with more than 700 references chosen by the sommelier Alex Liotard, and on the other a cheese bar with a selection of French cheese, local cochonnaille and black pork from Bigorre, seafood, and some salads also served at lunchtime. And you can combine the two: choose your bottle directly from the cellar to accompany your cheese board and enjoy them with or without friends!

And this is the wine industry in urban times. Opened by three wine enthusiasts, La Vinifacture proposes a very original approach. In Saint-Etienne are assembled the productions of friendly winegrowers, who supply the juices. Sainté mon amour, La Syrah Canon, don't tell anyone: original wines are made on site. La Vinifacture also proposes to its customers to make their own wine, by making their own blends. This winegrower - at the head of a family estate created in 1920 - is very famous for his production of Condrieu, including La Petite Côte and Les Chaillets, one of the best of the appellation, his red Saint Joseph cuvée "L'Amarybelle vieilles vignes" and the "Grande Cuvée Les Serines", without forgetting the white Saint Joseph made with old marsanne vines. This cellar offers a wide range of French red, rosé and white wines selected directly from producers. Two thirds of them are organic. Jean-Jacques Maleysson was not intended for the wine industry. After working in university administration, he trained as an oenologist in Beaune and began trading wines out of passion. He will give you all the advice you need to buy the best wines according to the consumption you want to make. It has a wide range from all the vineyards of France: more than 300 references among wines of winegrowers, champagnes and spirits that you will sometimes find nowhere else in Saint-Étienne. Anne-Laure, a biochemist, after experimenting with various recipes has chosen to create unfiltered, unpasteurized artisanal beers. You will be able to discover beers produced annually and others seasonally like the Pampille, Christmas brunette with spices of spices, spring Garipotte blonde spring, or Boulonji, an unspoiled beer with toasted bread. In a beautiful wood-framed establishment, the Brasserie du Pilat is part of a remarkable setting with a terrace opening onto the surrounding countryside. Visits to the brewery are possible to discover the production of this entirely organic drink. The brewery is traditional and the beers, balanced between malty and fruity notes, are brewed with spring water from the Monts du Pilat. Unpasteurized and unfiltered, you will find at the Brasserie du Pilat 8 different beers: 5 blondes and 3 amber as well as seasonal beers such as Giboulée or Fleur de Noël. All beers are produced from malt, spices and hops.

Didier Morion, a passionate independent winegrower, manages his 11 ha of vineyards with a masterful hand. His first vintage was born in 1993. Since then, he has never ceased to improve the quality of his products, which are made with the help of state-of-the-art techniques. AOP Condrieu with the Vents d'Anges or a sweet viognier with the cuvée Maëllyse. 5,5 ha of the domain are in Saint Joseph, roussane and marsanne grapes, and produce the cuvée "Cranilles". A top of the range wine as we like them. Also white Sarments in Vin de Pays and Gaby, a sweet viognier.

Following the family tradition and attached to his terroir, Maxime Verzier proposes: Condrieu Authentic in organic and biodynamic methods on the hillsides overlooking Chavanay; Saint-Joseph on the Blondeau and Ballustre plots facing the Pilat and old Syrah vines on the famous Madone d'Izeras plot. Also to be discovered are Connivence, Bohème and Syrah, IGP des Collines Rhodaniennes, almost all of which are sold out. On the Seyssuel side, a 100% Syrah cuvée called Première Lueur. The oldest domain of Chavanay finds its origins in 1797. An ancestral know-how - historical domain of the côte-rôtie AOP -, exceptional vines developed by Romain Decelle who converted the domain to organic viticulture. André Perret has been running the family business for 41 years. Today, he manages an 11-hectare estate of viognier, syrah, marsanne and merlot-syrah vines, producing wines in the saint-joseph, condrieu and vins de pays appellations (viognier, syrah, marsanne and merlot). Among the Condrieu wines are Coteau de Chéry, the house's flagship, Clos Chanson and Saint Joseph Les Grisières. Planted on hillsides and terraced, the vines are entirely hand-grown. The Domaine du Couzan was born of a man's passion for wine, Frédéric Murat. He chose to settle here more than ten years ago. For those who do not yet know the place, it covers a surface of 2,9 hectares composed predominantly of AOC Côtes-du-forez (red and rosé) and a large parcel of Chardonnay wine in the country of Urfé. The specialities of the house are the Cuvée Alexis, a deep purple ruby red, which delivers powerful aromas of red fruits where the shades of volcanic stone blend with the Cuvée and the Humanity, a rosé of a very fruity, round in mouth with a small incisive note. The Neron family's vineyard covers 12 hectares, divided into three terroirs. La Rochette which has 6 hectares of vines on a single plot, planted with the Gamay Saint-Romain grape variety, the oldest vines are 80 years old, Bératard, an exceptional terroir, part of which is planted with the Chardonnay grape variety on a terrace, and La Combe, this plot planted in 1998 required clearing of the forest to replant the Gamay Saint-Romain grape variety, on slopes of more than 25 %. Eight vintages are produced from these terroirs, in rosé, white and red.
