Since 2003, Stéphanie and Mario have taken over the business from Marc Bonnaire, one of the winegrowers who was at the origin of the creation of the Vin de Pays des Balmes Dauphinoises around 1970. In 1872, Félix Bigallet opened a syrup and liqueur factory in Lyon for cafés and inns. In 1885, in order to expand, he moved to Virieu. The company prospered, in particular with the famous "Bigallet", an exceptional lemonade made from lemon peel, colorless and a real nectar... If beer is fashionable, Grenoble has a long tradition of brewing, and this is where the Brasserie du Dauphiné comes into its own. Vincent Gachet created Brasserie du Dauphiné over 20 years ago to perpetuate the passion passed down by his grandparents, who worked at the Frise brewery. Using a name famous throughout the Dauphiné, Mandrin, he produces exceptional beers, notably using local produce such as Dauphiné walnuts and water from the Grenoble region! An offbeat microbrewery born from the impetus of Benoît and Quentin, who present their range of craft beers with original, one-off and even original recipes: the unique Jour en Chartreuse, a Chartreuse white, Amère Noëlle (house IPA), Échec & Malt, an orange white, MaltoBar (Bar), a cereal triple, ^Pils3, an Apa blonde.... But MaltoBar is also a place where you can learn the secrets of brewing and make your own beer. MaltoBar can also brew "customized" beers on request. Among the artisanal microbreweries in the Alps, here's Nicolas Fernandez and Stéphane Louvion's Brasserie des Cuves. In this former garage in Sassenage, they set up their tanks in 2015 and brew excellent traditional beers with Grenoble water, source Rochefort, blended with quality ingredients. Blonde, rousse, white and black, these are very pleasant, well-balanced beers, made in the tradition of master brewers. Even more local is Belle Noiseuse: a beer with nutty notes inspired by Dauphin aperitifs. Beers that arrive at your door in a variety of pack sizes to share with friends. Located in the heart of the Vercors, as its name suggests, this brewery creates innovative organic beverages. The fine team at Bière du Vercors grow the organic hemp and hops used to make their products. Not content with making original beers (with hemp, for example!), they also offer other beverages such as their 100% organic lemonades, or their Wercors whisky, both of which have won medals. They also offer innovative aperitif foods made from their own crops.

La Furieuse is part of the "Craft beer" movement. In other words, it respects traditional brewing methods based on quality products, but also allows itself to experiment with new ideas to explore the whole world of beer. At its brewery in Sassenage, benefiting from high-quality Alpine water, La Furieuse produces beers with a strong character. These include La Furie, a beautiful, aromatic blonde ale, and Diffuse, a refreshing spring blonde (a favorite of ours). La Full, 100% organic and local. La Futée, an amber that's just like us. Sulfureuse, a triple Belgian golden amber. Other seasonal beers to enjoy with pleasure and moderation.

A word of warning: L'Apogée du Vin is moving during the summer (and the writing of our guide). The address will change, but will remain in the neighborhood. It's not just the location that's changing, as the concept itself is also set to change (we're promised a hybrid concept, to be continued). What won't change is Enora Le Roy's passion for "committed" organic and biodynamic wines. Wines from passionate artisan winemakers, respectful of the environment and the terroir, that simply delight us with every sip. A graduate of the Université du Vin de Suze-la-Rousse, Enora has set up her own training organization for professionals: "Le vin sur la Lune".

Brothers in beer! Do you love beer, and especially local, independent beers? The Espace Comboire at Bière des Bräu is the place to be. Bière des Bräu is an independent craft microbrewery founded by two friends, Paul Gabriel and Nicolas Lang, who trained themselves in brewing techniques. Today, you can indulge in a good home-brewed beer with a wide range of thirst quenchers, including French Ale, Strange IPA, Bräuwn Ale, Strong IPA and the white Bräucaïne, not forgetting the ephemeral range. Don't hesitate to take a friendly break in the brewery's Shop & Degust area. Good times to share.

Nicolas Gonin is a winegrower and oenologist who produces quality wines on an estate created from scratch, with the vines of his family and 20 different owners! Nicolas Gonin works a 5.5 hectare estate with local grape varieties (altesse, mondeuse, persan and viognier) and others, without using chemical fertilisers, in a "natural" spirit. Rosé and sparkling rosé, pinot noir and gamay, red persan, a favourite with mondeuse, which goes wonderfully with meat, and white altesse, which goes well with local goat's cheese. A great discovery.
