In this former garage in Sassenage, they set up their tanks in 2015 and brew excellent traditional beers with Grenoble water, source Rochefort, blended with quality ingredients. Blonde, rousse, white and black, these are very pleasant, well-balanced beers, made in the tradition of master brewers. The fine team at Bière du Vercors grow the organic hemp and hops used to make their products. At its brewery in Sassenage, benefiting from high-quality Alpine water, La Furieuse produces beers with a strong character. These include La Furie, a beautiful, aromatic blonde ale, and Diffuse, a refreshing spring blonde (a favorite of ours). La Full, 100% organic and local. La Futée, an amber that's just like us. Nicolas Gonin works a 5.5 hectare estate with local grape varieties (altesse, mondeuse, persan and viognier) and others, without using chemical fertilisers, in a "natural" spirit. Rosé and sparkling rosé, pinot noir and gamay, red persan, a favourite with mondeuse, which goes wonderfully with meat, and white altesse, which goes well with local goat's cheese. A great discovery.
