The Dupré family welcomes you to their magnificent estate in the heart of the Ibie valley, with its 60 ha of vines! There's no soulless cellar here, just the authentic atmosphere of the workplace. On sale at the estate: the Cuvée Romain Côtes-du-Vivarais AOP red, matured in barrels, or a delightful IGP des Coteaux de l'Ardèche, not forgetting the Cuvée Mathilde, seven whites, one of which is mellow, and three rosés. The estate is making the transition to 100% organic! Once a month from June to August, enjoy "vinoelectro" evenings featuring foodtruck, wine and electro music!

Alba's winegrowers formed a cooperative in 1941. Today, some thirty winegrowers from the commune and surrounding areas are involved. A rich territory alternating between the basaltic terraces of the Coiron and the limestone slopes of Mont Juliau, with 60% red grape varieties. A modern winery, a barrel cellar and a renovated boutique are all quality tools that enable Alba's winegrowers to process their grapes and market their wines.

Gérard Champetier took over the family farm in 1972 representing the fourth generation of the family in viticulture. Today, he is assisted by his son Richard, fifth generation. These winemakers welcome you on their land and in their cellar where you can discover the wines of a passionate and open family. The area covers about thirty hectares on the Beaulieu nipples. Vinification includes the husbandry. The cellar offers a fortnight's tricolorous vintage, which distinguishes itself by their individuality. The field stopped garlic production.

DOMAINE DE LA CROIX BLANCHE

Winery

In the heart of the village, Daniel Archambault presents his wines. The whites make up 5% of his production, including an aromatic "viognier marsanne" of great value. Syrah lovers will appreciate a 100% rosé! For the reds, the Cuvée Prestige, aged in oak barrels, and the Cuvée Vieilles Vignes caught our attention. The wines are also available to order online. The plus : possibility to book (4 people minimum) a brunch in the vineyard !

CAVE AU TASTEVIN

Wine Cellar Wine House

On two streets of the town hall, this wine cellar is well signposted from the RN 86 - two possibilities: or park along the national or enter the city via the central roundabout and you can easily find the place - to load the trunk of some vouchers… in front of the cellar. Sylvie's passion, wine merchants, vineyards and délices are visible: Côtes du Rhône with some of its greatest wines, great wines of Bordeaux, Burgundy du Val-de-Loire, Languedoc and South-West are carefully placed in the shelves of the cellar which houses the summer touffeur behind thick walls. But it's not all because local products are ardéchois - jams, blocks and even this rare water produced in Asperjoc: The Queen of the Basalts - are beautifully displayed on shelves. On the bulk, wines from Countries of Ardèche and Costières de Nîmes and some table wines. An excellent Muscat of Lunel of owner, discreet homage to the roots of the vineyard complete the pretty panel of this nice cellar which has the concern - alas too rare today to propose excellent wines without ruining the client.

CAVE LA CÉVENOLE

Wine and alcohol cooperative

Just a stone's throw from the tourist office, the Rosières winery groups together 150 winegrowers, i.e. 700 hectares of vines, spread over 13 communes. The variety of soils and exposures are an asset that the cellar makes the most of. It produces local wines made from Gamay and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds and rosés, and from Sauvignon Blanc for the whites. Two exceptions: Viognier on sandstone soils which gives a rare and magnificent wine and Chatus, a grape variety which survived the phylloxera epidemic and whose most beautiful plants are found in the commune of Vernon.

CHÂTEAU LES AMOUREUSES

Winery

The estate of Château des Amoureuses changed hands in 2011 and was taken over by Jean-Pierre and Florence Bedel to produce exceptional wines. The estate, located on the right bank of the Rhône, south of Bourg-Saint-Andéol, their hometown, has been undergoing a wind of renewal ever since. Jean-Michel Novelle, international consultant oenologist, is part of the adventure. The trio has rethought everything, from the 58-hectare vineyard to the winery. In the cellar, they have surrounded themselves with two young oenologists, Kristin Basson, originally from South Africa, and Claudia Gomez, originally from Chile.

DOMAINE BALTHAZAR

Winery

The reins of the Balthazar estate passed from father René to his son Franck in 2002, but the estate has kept its reputation as a producer of an authentic cornas. The 2 hectares of the estate have been in the family since the First World War, but the current plan has been a gradual expansion with about ten hectares planted over a five-year period. Despite everything, Franck keeps the traditional side of his father: here, no new barrels! It is a wine that needs to be forgotten in the cellar to flourish for a few years. Excellent quality/price ratio, particularly the 1999 vintage, which still remains one of the references. It's better to call before you come by.

DOMAINE DES TERRIERS

Winery

This former estate, taken over in 2017 by Benjamin Levère and Cyril Chamontin, will delight epicureans. Since March 2024, the entire estate has gone organic, and we continue to grow the grape varieties typical of the region: syrah, serine, merlot, grenache, cabernet-sauvignon, viognier and chardonnay. Cinsault, in a rosé blend, is particularly appreciated during the hot summers of southern Ardèche! In high season, tastings are available at the cellar every day.

You'll also find a selection of local products on the shelves.

LOUIS CHÈZE

Winery

Today, her vineyard is one of the pillars of the Seyssuel vineyard and spreads over 10 hectares, bringing out the best in Syrah. Caroline's Prestige cuvée, a selection of old vines, aged in oak barrels, is a delight. Domaine Chèze has even been making Condrieu for a few years. True to its origins, Louis Chèze also offers apricot nectar thanks to the few trees that escaped being uprooted. So if you are passing through the heights of the Rhone Valley, stop and fill up on the wine: a good choice awaits you.
