There aren't many tea rooms in the Ardèche, and when we find one that's also one of the friendliest in the area, we're in for a treat! You'll soon feel right at home in this cosy atmosphere, with its carefully-crafted vintage decor inside and shady, Mediterranean-style courtyard out back. The cuisine is inventive, depending on what's on the menu at any given moment, so it's always changing, to the delight of our taste buds.

It's the SMAC 07, the Ardèche's contemporary music scene. This Presqu'île is more than just a concert hall. A site steeped in history - a patronage hall in the early 20th^century , then a parish cinema (1920-1970) - La Presqu'île opened its doors in 2000. With its 200 seats, it's a very convivial cultural venue that plays on the proximity between audience and artists. Here, you'll discover lively shows and a magical setting. The establishment was taken up by Yohan, owner of the «Panorama» à Aubenas, who adopted the same concept here: concerts, exhibitions, theme cards for wines and beer, fair teas… In a young and relaxed atmosphere, no doubt the "Pirate Moon" will have the same success as the "Panorama" to awaken the nightlife of Privas who asks for this! Theatre à la'of 600 places, replica of the theatre of the Célestins in Lyon, the theatre of the Casino offers a varied programming - dance, theatre, concerts, varieties, etc. - throughout the season - September to May - in collaboration with the Cultural Centre Le Bournot d'Aubenas. From the top of its 11 s, Cavajazz, the only French club in rural France, has become a jazz place for European musicians. A rich and varied programming throughout the year makes this place an amazing rendezvous and rich in jazz culture. Notice to amateurs!

On the little square opposite the church, this tea room, beautifully decorated with vintage bric-a-brac, offers excellent teas, as well as a choice of coffees and other beverages. In winter, it's a delight with its cosy room and muffled atmosphere, and in summer, its small terrace on the shady square. Ideal for an ice cream before continuing your tour of the streets of the old town, or on leaving the Castanea museum next door. A friendly welcome and excellent advice on teas to taste or take away.

Ephemeral tapas restaurant-bar open only in summer, from mid-June to around mid-September. A short but intense period. Concerts and events follow one another in this large, shady courtyard just below the old village of Joyeuse. On the plate, inventive dishes with world flavors and more regional fare... We love the electric atmosphere, the waltz of the waiters, the music and the trendy bal musette. Reservations are essential: this is one of the best summer bars in the region, and it's a well-known fact!

An atypical place where to come to rest to chill out in peace or to enjoy an evening. You are on a barge on the Rhône, moored in Tournon. The SFC offers drinks, healthy and varied food for all moments of the day. A barge to stroll, to work, to share, to do various activities, to play board games with the children, to read magazines, to listen to music, to drink a hot chocolate, to eat a pastry, to enjoy a meal full of freshness and vitamins... Go for it!

In the middle of the countryside, in this former "mounted ball", the Source is an artistic bar which offers you game afternoons, concerts, Irish sessions, folk dance workshops every last Thursday of the month... and even theatre every Thursday at 6pm! The place is original, a 1970's ballroom structure, decorated, dressed in wood and filled with elements that recall the production of natural sparkling water from Beauval springs.

For a change from visits based on the Ardèche region, Bio Paintball offers a sporting and engaging activity to punctuate your stay. Teams compete with guns and pistols loaded with biodegradable paint balls, in a scenario defined in advance. All this at the foot of the Jaujac volcano in a natural setting. A safety briefing precedes the activity, of course. There are also shooting ranges and a self-guided target course. And for the more adventurous: the bungy catapult, a kind of bungee jumping in reverse!

Definitely one of the key players in Albenian nightlife, Panorama has been in town for a number of years. The bar acquired a real stage some time ago, and programs concerts several times a week. Local bands who want to make a name for themselves, but also national and even international headliners. The drinks menu is well-stocked, with real discoveries on the wine front, fair-trade teas and more. A place to try for a successful evening.

This castle has little to do with that of Star'Ac! And yet we're at a talent discoverer on a national rock scene that becomes a little more compelling every year. A 2 km from Saint Center, it was in the old family farm that M created the castle Ruling in the late 1970 s. At the beginning, these are musicians who come to animate the place, and then they will be increasingly international groups that will come to burn the planks of a mythical stage, open to all styles: reggae (with Kana in particular), techno-rock (Dandy Freaks), jazz acid (Brooklyn Funk Essentials)… So some "big sizes" make, after a Parisian scene, a detour by Ruling for an unforgettable date. Note that to make a full place for new electronic music, Ruling has opened a second room - down - to the electric atmosphere with a turning dj from the dub to drum & bass passing through the hardtek. This patisserie-tea room occupies a large store in the pedestrian center. It's the den of Bastien Girard, winner of the 2017 World Pastry Cup in Lyon. Come and enjoy a cup of chocolate or tea with a few macaroons or one of the house pastries: all-chocolate, strawberry charlotte, lemon meringue tartlet... Regressive: a teddy bear skewer with homemade marshmallows. And chocolates, madeleines, cakes, ice creams... New address in Valence.

A multi-faceted history and project. In place of the former Hôtel de la gare (the station of the old Saint-Peray tramway), a few associates, now in a SCOP, decided to breathe new life into the place. As a first step, a guinguette will open in 2019. Then came the renovation of the building, and in 2021 the opening of the grocery-cellar-caterer and finally the restaurant. L'Auberge de Boffres is also a post office, shared offices and a bicycle reception area. At the Auberge de Boffres, you'll enjoy cuisine based on local seasonal produce, often cooked over an open wood fire.

On the heights of Saint-Péray, in the heart of nature, this 25-hectare organic farm invites you to take a break in its open-air bar-guinguette, to rub shoulders with laying hens, chicks, pullets, roosters, peacocks, donkeys, ponies, dwarf goats, Roussillon red-headed ewes.... Escape Game Ardèche is an escape game center located in Lamastre, Ardèche.
