RANDONNÉE AQUATIQUE DANS LE TOULOURENC

Water sports and leisure activities
5/5
1 review

The Toulourenc is the most important river fed by the Mont Ventoux after the resurgence of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. It rises at the foot of the Château d'Aulan, near Montbrun-les-Bains and flows for 30 km in a narrow valley with deep and wild gorges. Water depths vary from a few centimetres to more than two metres depending on the time of year! To be avoided in periods of rain and snowmelt... But it is a small paradise in summer.

The clarity and quality of the water, and its constant temperature of 13°C, make it a first-category river. Its waters have long been renowned for their trout.
