The Toulourenc is the most important river fed by the Mont Ventoux after the resurgence of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. It rises at the foot of the Château d'Aulan, near Montbrun-les-Bains and flows for 30 km in a narrow valley with deep and wild gorges. Water depths vary from a few centimetres to more than two metres depending on the time of year! To be avoided in periods of rain and snowmelt... But it is a small paradise in summer.

Une super promenade. Compter une demi-journée , pour remonter et redescendre la rivière à pieds. Les pieds dans l'eau, pouvant même atteindre le buste par endroit.
Il faut y aller tôt (départ 9 heures) pour ne pas avoir trop de monde.
