Here you will go to horseback riding for 1 hour or why not several days. Discovering the region, crossing the Alps, the magic of the Lubéron and the magic of horses to make you a happy tourist! When beauty blends into the landscape and makes it a body with you, you will ennivrez yourself from the sight and pleasure of being on horseback. And if you want to extend the pleasure, don't hesitate to stay there: the farmhouse of the Florentine also proposes to host you in a stage lodging, duplex studio or in one of the 3 guest rooms!

The botanical path of Esparron, created in 1990, forms a loop of about 6 km, with 204 m of difference in altitude. From the south of the village, it joins the entrance of the gorges of Bas Verdon through wooded hillsides, then returns to Esparron following the banks of the lake. It is marked by yellow lines on the trees or rocks. Take the time (2 to 3 hours) to admire the biodiversity of its vegetation through about fifteen stops with didactic panels that will describe the plants encountered. Be careful with the cliffs. This trail should be avoided in hot weather.

Classified as Historic Monument since 1913, Our lady of Bethlehem, one of the largest churches of High Provences with its 32 metres high, is part of its hidden treasures. To access it, you need to explore a long trail that climbs up to the old village of Walnut-sur-Jabron, abandoned for decades. This building was built in the th century and depends on the Monastery of Ganagobie. 

The Massif massif is one of the most magnificent natural sites in the area of Digne-les-Bains. A route of the Grande Traversée de Des Des (WGIP) leads from the Col de Pierre-Basse to the summit of the Pas-de-le-faille where the landscape is unforgettable. A yellow and green markup allows to reach the village of Des. Here harvesting and hunting are strictly forbidden to protect rare species. 

The Roche-la-Croix site is a set of stone masonry (th century) and reinforced concrete (th century) which bears witness to a race without a hitch. Integrated into the Maginot system of defence of the Alps, it represented a real lock on access to Larche's Col.

This museum is part of the Musée de la Vallée network, which has a total of five establishments throughout the Ubaye valley, a very instructive network for those who want to know about life in the past in this valley.

In Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, come and discover the panorama of agricultural machines and tools collected in Ubaye. This museum exhibits the tools, gestures and work of Ubaye rural society, before it was invaded by mechanisation and the generalisation of trade. It also presents two specific activities in this territory: the work of hemp and wool at that time. It is dedicated to the blacksmith Albert Manuel, who provided it with models that are both beautiful and educational, teaching the traditional gestures of the valley: transporting wood, water mills... An old-fashioned kitchen has also been reconstructed, with a collection of old clothes and naturalized animals.

A very good point to note: this structure is sensitive to the reception of disabled people. Guided tours, small workshops, film screenings... help you discover the museum. Temporary exhibitions are also regularly held there.

Finally, we point out that during its opening period and only in high season, it houses a Tourist Information Point, which can be very practical on site, because otherwise the nearest Tourist Information Office is in Jausier. A double reason to visit this nice little museum!

This is a small but beautiful natural lake, of glacial origin, surrounded by mountains that reflect in its emerald waters. In summer, it is an ideal place for those who wish to cool off and relax on the banks of the lake. The more athletic can walk around it, while others can relax for a while in the welcoming shade of the larch trees. The area is also renowned for its fishing. Picnic tables and a refreshment bar are set up on the banks for a meal stop in this enchanting bucolic setting.

A beautiful stretch of water bordered by lawns and trees, with beaches and supervised swimming, tennis courts, basketball and beach volleyball courts, a climbing wall, children's games and shaded picnic areas, as well as a giant zip line that runs directly into the water and a water ski lift! The entrance fee includes the use of the playgrounds and access to the beach. There is a snack bar on site, the Chalet du Lac, which is open all day and which, in the evening, becomes a friendly and welcoming restaurant where you can dine à la carte.

This local tourist information office of Verdon Tourisme offers a lot of practical and tourist information, also available on its website. It does not organise activities itself but works in close collaboration with several specialised service providers (paragliding, sailing on the lake, fishing in the Verdon...). In case of closure, you can contact the inter-communal office of Castellane, of which it is a branch office.

Dating back to the th century, this Romanesque Romanesque chapel is all that remains of a priory founded by the Abbey Saint-Michel-de-la-Gorges (Piedmont).
