Read moreSince 1973, the Maison du Muscadet de Vallet has brought together about thirty Muscadet producers, independent producers who value their know-how here. This association has its headquarters in a house where you will find more than 80 wine references, all produced in the communes of Vallet, La Chapelle-Heulin, Mouzillon, Le Pallet, La Regrippière. The winegrowers take turns to hold permanences, in order to promote all the nutmeg from the aforementioned terroirs. The wines are all at the same price regardless of the producer. The price varies according to the range of bottles. All wines offered for sale have been approved by a tasting commission. The selection represented includes the muscadet-sèvre-et-maine sur lie, the communal crus, the large plants, the late wines, the traditional methods (rosé/white) as well as rosé and red Loire wines from the gamay, cabernet and pinot noir grape varieties... It is a place where people come first and foremost to discover or rediscover the wines of the Nantes vineyard, their history, their origins and where they benefit from the wise advice of Rachel or her colleagues depending on the day. Although grouped within a radius of 1,5 km, this vineyard has a wide variety of basements and is characterized by its rich and complex soils, which gives it high regularity from one vintage to another. During the seasons, the operation of the vineyard takes place by observing and respecting the environment. This method of production is part of the TERRA VITIS process and received its first recognition in 2002. To continue in the process and in the interest of sustainable viticulture, the exploitation was qualified as reasoned agriculture by an organization recognized by the State in 2005. Read moreLocated in the premises of the tourist office, the association La Cave des muscadet de la vallée de Clisson gathers 24 winegrowers who will make you discover and appreciate all the variety of the Sèvre and Maine sur Lie nutmeg produced in the Valley. You will find a range of quality wines: vintage muscadet, Sèvre-et-Maine muscadet on lees, Clisson granite... Exceptional, the communal crus appellations Gorge et Clisson and Monnières Saint-Fiacre are aged for many months in vats. Made from selected plots, the wines are made according to strict specifications. At weekends, in season, a winegrower in person welcomes you. Groups of 20 people maximum are welcome in the cellar and 50 to 100 people in the cellars.
