Have you always wanted to go canyoning, but didn't feel like going too far? Good news for Nantais and other lucky residents or visitors to the Loire-Atlantique region! Qualified instructors from EL Cap climbing gym in Saint-Herblain have launched a new sea canyoning activity for summer 2023! It's all about climbing, walking, jumping into the ocean, diving and zip-lining from one rock to the next, all in complete safety! Accessible to people aged 12 and over, provided they're in good physical condition, but open to beginners, this is your chance to enjoy this superb outdoor activity. Departures are from Batz-sur-Mer in the Baie du Carbonet. The instructors are from the El Cap climbing gym in Saint Herblain, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024! Let's go to the wild coast, and experience the thrills of climbing and canyoning at the same time!

The Terbin Canoe club offers canoes rental in summer, at prices slightly lower than the nearby Clisson club. Boats can be transported for 0,90 € per kilometre. Night trips are also available to discover the Clair Nantes valley in moonlight. The association has a stage cottage with a capacity of 16 people (see Gîte).

CVAN invites you to discover the pleasures of paddling at La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, in a natural setting just a stone's throw from Nantes. Alone, with your family or in a group, you'll be able to indulge in this activity while enjoying a landscape that blends city and nature. The site has been awarded the "Site Sportif de Nature" label, and is fully equipped for safe paddling. You can also combine your paddle session with a pilates activity on the water. What's more, CVAN is easily accessible by public transport.

Espace Aventures is a jet-ski rental company located in Pornic, Loire-Atlantique. It offers water sports activities for thrill-seekers. Rates vary according to rental duration and activities chosen. Espace Aventures has a fleet of recent jet-skis in perfect working order. Pilots are supervised by state-certified instructors.

The Albatross, under the direction of Philippe Naulleau, welcomes you in the beautiful setting of La Baule-Pornichet bay. The hotel is a beach club for children and a sailing school. The club offers you many activities: The Pass-Albatros (from 6 years old) with sailing in the morning and beach club in the afternoon, sailing baptisms, special courses, boat rentals for free outings, kayak and paddle rental, different formulas for groups and training or development courses.

Located in the commune of Plessé, on the Etang de Buhel, Wake Park Plessé is a leisure park specializing in water sports such as wakeboarding, water skiing, wakeskating and kneeboarding. It also offers stand-up paddle activities. Wake Park Plessé offers summer courses for children and teenagers, as well as water skiing and wakeboarding lessons. There's also a bar and snack bar.

Gétigné Canoë Kayak is a canoe-kayak rental service located in Gétigné. They offer canoe and kayak trips along the Sèvre river. The cost of a 2-hour rental is 13 euros. You are advised to be able to swim at least 25 meters, and to respect the rules of navigation, as well as the sites and local residents. You are also asked not to pick water lilies, which are a protected species. We recommend that you wear footwear that fits your feet and clothing that is appropriate for the weather conditions. Gétigné Canoë Kayak offers a wilderness kayaking experience in the Vallée de Clisson.
