Then it's on to the making! With the first glass picking (the glassblower begins by "picking" (or gathering) a mass of molten glass in the pot or crucible furnace, or in the basin furnace). The glass is then worked and the tools practiced. The first step is to obtain a drop of glass before inlaying color. Then we repeat the glassblower's gestures to shape the glass into a unique piece. You'll leave the workshop amazed and delighted with a drop, a paperweight with a color and a unique glass, or another masterpiece created by Simon, Anaïs and Thomas.

Passionate about archaeology and ceramics, Pernette Betrancourt completed her training in ceramic craftsmanship, which she complemented with a specialization in heritage conservation-restoration to become a ceramic craftsman. In her workshop, Pernette honors ceramics.
