The town of Cluses is located in the average Arve valley, the river to the Rhone in Geneva. It has two major assets. The first is historic: it is the perfect conversion of the clock and watch industry to undercutting (see absolutely the clocks and Undercutting) - machining in large series of industrial rooms. The second is its location: Cluses is a good starting base for five stations of the grand massif: Flaine, Le Praz-de-Lys, Carroz-in Araches, Morillon and Samoëns. Located in Vallespir, 650 m above sea level, this small family campsite, created in 1973, was the first registered naturist camping in the Pyrénées-Orientales. It has remained in the right line of its creators, and since 2002, it is Yannique and Yves Martinez who welcome you and do their best to make you live a real moment of naturist holidays. Number of locations: 63. Equipment: 42 ha, swimming pool, 2 sanitary blocks with hot water, playground for children, sports field, health course, access to torrent with naturist swimming.

The "nins" in Catalan are the children. And they are welcomed in the educational farm (which adjoins Patrice's farm) while mum and dad do their shopping in the shop. On the menu, but just to pet or feed, pigs, goats, ornamental hens, rabbits, guinea pigs, ponies and llamas! The aim is to make children aware of animal welfare and to show them how they are raised. Numerous educational activities are offered throughout the seasons, as well as pony rides reserved for children aged 3 to 8.

Without crossing the Atlantic and reaching the Andes, come and discover Christophe's alpaca farm. The visits are guided (fixed hours) or free. You will also meet Algerian goats, ponies and donkeys. Because these last ones are Christophe's passion. He can talk about them for hours! Once the visit is over, the little ones can stretch their legs in the playground, enjoy a cold drink in the guinguette and everyone can have a picnic in a covered area protected from the sun and wind.

The church of Saint-Martin d'Hix is a jewel of Romanesque religious art located in the hamlet of Hix in Bourg-Madame, Cerdagne, Pyrénées-Orientales. Built in the 12th century, it bears witness to the region's glorious past. Catalan kings came to Hix when threats from Toulouse called them to the limits of their territories. This Romanesque church is an architectural masterpiece, with finely carved capitals and a cornice adorned with sculpted modillions. Inside, you can admire a 12th-century Virgin and Child, a 13th-century Romanesque Christ, a 16th-century Saint-Martin altarpiece and a Baroque altarpiece on the high altar. These artistic treasures bear witness to the devotion of the people of Hix through the centuries.
