A few kilometres north of Marvejols, near the Château de la Baume, this small lake has been designed for leisure and relaxation for both small and large. Le Moulin is the first canoe rental company in the Gorges du Tarn, and has just celebrated its 50th anniversary. And the place has a history, which Muriel, Jeannot and Charlie will share with you. Cyclists, whether beginners or seasoned veterans, will also find a wide choice of accessories and clothing to suit all riding styles: BMX, mountain bike, VTC, road or city; as well as expert advice on how to pedal comfortably and safely. Note that the Mondovélo workshop in Mende repairs all brands of bikes. How convenient!

In the Natura 2000 zone, the site of the lake of Charpal irresistibly evokes Canada. Its very particular history (the lake was supposed to shelter ammunition between the two world wars and a railroad had been built there), its forest, planted in the 50s, made it a unique place sheltering a rather exceptional fauna and flora. A path has been set up and you can walk or mountain bike along the almost 9 kilometers of the forest, which are decorated with educational panels on the environment. If fishing(no kill) is allowed, swimming is forbidden.

Since 2005, Gévaudan Evasion offers a wide range of "off road" activities : quad, motorcycle, enduro training and even initiation to quad for children from 6 years old, on circuit or on the ground. Because Lozere is a huge playground, Lozere Nature offers a lot of activities to play on the cliffs, underground or on the water. Equipment, accompaniment, advice, here all services are proposed until the ideas of original stays: in a yurt or in a cave with the underground bivouac. Are you interested in abseiling and tyrolean traverse? The adventure course is for you. For families, a package per day and per person will allow you to do abseiling, canyoning, bivouac in a cave and via ferrata!

Along the Stevenson trail, Tramontane rents out a dozen donkeys for day hikes or longer. A small gîte close to her house can accommodate up to 5 hikers or holidaymakers, before offering advice on the choice of itineraries. Walks can be accompanied. The donkeys are adorable, and the information provided is sufficient for a trouble-free hike.

Next to Lac de Bonnecombe, this family-friendly resort offers 35 km of trails dedicated to skiing (3 trails), snowshoeing (2 trails) and Nordic hiking (2 trails). Next to the reception building, there's a beginners' area and a toboggan run. In the Relais des Lacs area, another zone is reserved for the growing number of snow-kite enthusiasts. Outside the winter season, this is the place to be for the fête de la transhumance and to enjoy the fine weather by the lake!

Just 200 m from the village of Sainte-Enimie, on the road to Florac, Le Canophile offers a choice of rental options: lazing around by the hour or five routes ranging from 5 to 40 km. The "discovery" routes, upstream from Sainte-Enimie, depart from Prades or Montbrun, depending on the distance chosen. Neophytes can try their hand on the water before embarking on a descent. For the more experienced, 2 and 3-day courses (32 km and 40 km) are available. In all cases, the Canophile will advise you on a circuit suited to your pace.

In the kingdom of the mountains, water has its source... It's not an advert for mineral water, but a description of this space entirely dedicated to the joys of water: around the leisure pool, there are nothing but slides (one of which is 60 metres long), bubbles and games. The more courageous can make use of the fitness area and weight room, while the lazier can enjoy the sauna and spa. As for the kids, they can play in complete safety on the Children's Island. Atlantie is also a sports centre with a 25 m x 10 m pool. There's also a restaurant.

Built on the edge of the Lot, this lake extends over 9 hectares near La Canourgue. With its equipped beach and its small restaurant, one could believe oneself at the seaside, the calm and the serenity in more! Nearby, the vacation village offers about forty cottages and a comfortable gîte d'étape with seventeen places at a low price. The restaurant, open from March to mid-December, offers a generous and varied menu, to be enjoyed on the large wooden terrace to take advantage of an incredibly beautiful and relaxing environment.

The Locanoë team manages a small fleet of boats and offers free canoe and kayak trips. Several routes are available, from the 6 km "zero-carbon" (2h) between Castelbouc and Sainte-Enimie, with a return walk along the Tarn, to the 13 km "classic" (afternoon or full day) between Sainte-Enimie and Rives Basses, or the 29 km "escape", to be done over 2 days between Castelbouc and Baumes Basses. You can also hire a paddle on the Castelbouc lake.

Starting from Les Vignes or Le Rozier, the structure offers three routes of 7 to 17 kilometers lasting from 2 to 5 hours, and a possibility of a two-day descent, with bivouac at the campsite. The easiest circuit, of 7 km, reaches Peyrelade, on calm waters, for a duration of about 2 hours. The sportiest one of 17 km combines the family course and the descent of the fast and lively waters from Les Vignes. But each one allows you to discover the landscape at your own pace. For all, the equipment and the shuttle to reach the starting point are included in the price.

The Monts d'Aubrac equestrian centre puts its animals, horses and ponies at the service of made-to-measure discoveries. In addition to introductory sessions, courses and lessons, it offers accompanied rides through the great outdoors, as well as training courses. In these cases, we sleep in the gîte of the equestrian farm. The mistress of the house, who is as comfortable in the kitchen as she is at the reception, provides the meals: sausage and truffade, Aubrac aligot meat, Aubrac tea, blueberries?

The gorges of the Tarn are undoubtedly the ideal spot to practice kayaking, canoeing, paddle and other watercraft in Lozere. Aqua Loisirs has thus set up six circuits, starting from Les Vignes, where its base is, to take advantage of the sometimes rougher and sometimes calmer waters of the river. Their names (The Unforgettable; The Magnificent; The Sensational...) announce the colour very clearly: exceptional landscapes, emotions, surprises and pleasure above all, accessible to all levels thanks to the varied lengths and levels of the circuits.

Created in 1994 as part of the French Cycling Federation (FFCT), Cyclo Club Mendois aims to promote cycling tourism. Outings are organized on Lozère roads on Saturday afternoons and weekdays (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). The club also offers a number of pleasant rides. The club was behind the creation of the Lozère tour, which covers 600 km and 9,600 m of ascent in 6 stages. This family-run business uses the Tarn gorges and their whitewater to develop a range of refreshing sports activities. Several descents, from 8 to 47 kilometers, from a few hours to several days, allow you to discover the area and its breathtaking panoramas. In addition to canoes and kayaks, paddles offer a different perspective on the river. Canoë 2000 also offers its customers supervised caving, canyoning and via ferrata, with routes to suit all ages and profiles.

On the other hand, in winter, the "Fer à Cheval" resort, near Nasbinals, offers 3 alpine ski slopes with a ski lift, 3 cross-country ski slopes including a link to the Royal Aubrac and 2 snowshoe slopes, without forgetting the sled dogs. At the reception, in addition to a bar-restaurant area, you can rent equipment. On the other side, in summer, it is Aventure Aubrac, with four "accrobranche" courses of different heights according to age, four mountain bike courses with possible rental and interpretation trails.
