Mende is a welcoming town for newcomers, thanks to the association Accueil des Villes Françaises (AVF). Newcomers and Mende residents looking for social ties are invited to meet over coffee to discuss the association's projects and share their suggestions. The network gathers tourist structures spread over the territory of the Cévennes National Park and offers accommodation, activities and discovery of know-how.
