Les Remparts de Neffiès is a historic site located in Neffiès, in the Languedoc region of France. The site is the fruit of the passion of two pharmacists, Mary and Pascal Blondel, who created the estate in 2001. The estate extends over 12 hectares of Pézenas terraces, composed of basalt, dolomitic limestone and pebble soils. A former dependency of Valmagne Abbey, founded in 1139, traces of Roman presence prove that this site was already exploited by the Romans. Since 1995, when the cooperative opened, the Pays d'Ensérune winegrowers have combined tradition and innovation. Their 3,200-hectare vineyard, spread over 11 villages, features classic Mediterranean grape varieties such as carignan, grenache, muscat and cinsault, as well as AOPs such as Saint Chinian and Coteaux du Languedoc. Two tasting and sales cellars are available: one in Nissan-lez-Enserune and the other in Cazouls-lès-Béziers.

Close to the sea, this domain of 25 ha of vineyards is certified organic. The sixth generation of the Andrieu family now works these lands. Among the cultivated grape varieties, chardonnay, merlot and pinot give birth to IGP vin-de-pays-de-l'hérault wines. The "Ecocert" organic label guarantees the natural preservation of this exceptional terroir. ABBAYE SYLVA PLANA

The Bouchard family has built up a vineyard of Vins de Pays Côtes de Thongues, AOC Coteaux-du-languedoc and AOC Faugères. Known for the Domaine Deshenrys, the family is less known for the Sylva Plana abbey. Cédric Guy, Nicolas and his father Henry-Ferdinand Bouchard decided to expand their range by producing AOC Faugères. The vines are planted on south-facing terraces on a terroir of schist, clay-limestone and grey marble. The harvest is carried out manually with sorting on the spot. During your visit, drop by the tasting cellar.
