ABBAYE SYLVA PLANA

The Bouchard family has built up a vineyard of Vins de Pays Côtes de Thongues, AOC Coteaux-du-languedoc and AOC Faugères. Known for the Domaine Deshenrys, the family is less known for the Sylva Plana abbey. Cédric Guy, Nicolas and his father Henry-Ferdinand Bouchard decided to expand their range by producing AOC Faugères. The vines are planted on south-facing terraces on a terroir of schist, clay-limestone and grey marble. The harvest is carried out manually with sorting on the spot.
