This family estate, located on the banks of the Orb, is an exceptional winegrowing property. For six generations, the Viennet family has been perpetuating the winegrowing tradition, and since 2006 has been focusing on wine tourism. The estate covers 60 hectares and produces a range of 12 wines, aged in a magnificent cellar carved out of the rock. The estate also hosts sculpture and painting exhibitions, and has five guest rooms in the château, surrounded by English parkland. The cellars can be visited by telephone reservation.

It is along the banks of the Rhône Canal that you will find this house of delights. In the heart of the historic center, the establishment has been selling and delivering fine tannic wines for three generations. Late Muscat, tradition, rosé, sparkling, in grape juice... Also, the House offers customers products from the region, perfect for bringing back culinary souvenirs in a sunny basket to show your family and friends the treasures of Frontignan.

The estate produces excellent organic wines and also offers a 4-star campsite with unusual accommodations such as igloos, trailers and winegrower cabins. The friendly, family atmosphere is enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding nature, the varied facilities and the friendliness of the staff. Activities include river swimming and an evening "Wine & Cheese Tour" where the winemaker guides visitors through the vineyards, cellar and century-old winery on board the harvest trailer.

A few kilometers from Nissan-Lez-Ensérunes, Château la Vernède is an old beautiful Folie du Languedoc, a legacy of the golden age of wine merchants in the ^19th century. Dedicated to viticulture since antiquity, the estate is now preserved by the^5th generation of the Ribet family in the person of Jean-Marc Ribet. Under the vinification of Mr. Maurer, an Alsatian trained in Bordeaux, the AOC Coteaux-du-Languedoc vintages offer powerful and harmonious reds, revealing nuances of fruit, licorice and sweet spices.

In the middle of the olive trees, Sophie and Xavier Palatsi hold this vineyard with the precious advice of Jean Natoli. The estate, which extends over 60 hectares, 35 of which are vines, produces wines from sustainable agriculture. All have been Terra Vitis labelled since 2010 and benefit from the Pays d'Oc Hérault PGI protected geographical indication. Among the "specialities" of the house, the Jardin de Jules, a red wine; Jalade, a rosé; and the Cuvée Gatefer (red wines). Tastings and visits to the cellars are organised and guest rooms welcome you for one or more nights in the estate's bastide. Finally, a 250 m² room is available for receptions for up to 70 people. A beautiful place, delicious wines, pleasant rooms, a warm welcome... It is magnificent.

Jean-Luc Viguier, winemaker, and his wife Catherine, oenologist, have combined their passion for wine and the land to launch the estate. Located on a former Templar property, it has been in the family for four generations. Its red soil gives birth to wines that are both authentic and fruity. Inspired, the family has been involved in wine tourism for a few years (wine walks, open-air farm...) and offers stays in perched cabins.

The thousand-year-old Gassac vineyard, near the abbey of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, is a jewel of the Languedoc region. Just 3 km from Aniane, this winery offers a tour of a Gallo-Roman cellar in the heart of the garrigue. Discover a wide selection of wines, including the renowned Mas de Daumas Gassac red and white, as well as Laurence's wine, a nectar of love and liqueur, and rosé frisant for aperitifs or desserts. In summer, the estate hosts winegrower walks and the "Jazz under the Stars" festival for magical moments.

Raphaël, a former sommelier and epicurean at heart, has just taken over this cellar, offering a wide selection of wines (300 references) from Languedoc, Côtes-du-Rhône, Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Loire, as well as foreign wines. A few favorites include Domaine Jeff Carrel's Les Darons, a red AOP Languedoc wine, a blend of several terroirs from very old vines. A concentrated, mineral wine with fine tannins. In this pedestrian street, friendly and lively - known as "des prisons" - the "Cave au Vin Vivant" is a meeting place for fine people where you can find a nugget of wine, share a glass, chat with regulars, and enjoy a concert that livens up the evening. We appreciate the nice selection of organic, biodynamic and natural wines, the friendly and no-fuss atmosphere, the table that fills up with glasses and good things to nibble with friends at aperitif time. It's hard to imagine that vines grow in the middle of the city... And yet, they are still there because the city has sprouted around them, bypassing them to preserve them. In 2003, the Lacombe family took over the family property, which had been owned since 1813. Their meticulous work on the vines and on the grape varieties has allowed the production of a wine appreciated by all, whether it be through the Lucentum, Pont de Vassal, Las Pillas, Merlot l'Enchanteur or their Vone cuvée. Since 2020: possibility to rent the castle for receptions and other events.

Leave Montpellier and follow the Larzac foothills into the heart of the Hérault valley. A pleasant path leads to the terraced vineyards of Montpeyroux, a village-castle nestled in unspoilt garrigue. It's here that the renowned wines of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, Languedocs d'altitude, Terrasses-du-Larzac and Montpeyroux have been produced since 1950. These wines have long had the ambition of obtaining "cru communal" status, supported by the region's 21 cooperative wineries.

Michel Mas is known for his love of the land. A winemaker handed down from father to son for four generations, in 2006 he created his own 7-hectare estate at the foot of the family château. Viognier, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon make up his work. Respect for nature is another of the estate's hallmarks. Based on Organic Farming, the Organic Forestry method and Biodynamics, Michel Mas offers wines characterized by terroir aromas. Gourmet, elegant and rich in fruit, these are fine wines to discover!

This craft brewery is a friendly place full of character, created by a beer-loving duo: Jean-Baptiste and Numa. After travelling and working in breweries, notably in New Zealand, these hop enthusiasts came up with Zoobrew. This address is both a craft brewery and a bar where you can taste their creations on weekends. It attracts connoisseurs, the curious and those who simply want to refresh themselves with original craft beers. Beers are also on sale in the boutique.

Thanks to a meticulous elaboration, the Frontignan Muscat cellar - an emblematic place of the city created in 1904 - offers wines produced from the muscat à petits grains grape variety, also called the "golden muscat". The range of wines is wide and includes dry muscat, very pleasant as an aperitif, 20 year old muscat de Frontignan AOC, rich and aromatic, as well as the muscat Clos du Château de Peyssonnie, balanced and fruity. As a bonus, the store allows you to order your bottles online and have them delivered.

the Château de Flaugergues, the "Montpellier folly" of the Millénaire-Grammont district, is one of the city's green lungs. This impressive historical monument and its restaurant are worth a visit. But what makes the reputation of the place more is its vineyard! With a surface area of 28 hectares, it is located in the heart of the AOC Languedoc. A range of grape varieties creates a balance of flavors and allows the production of eight high quality vintages. Established in the port of Marseillan for over 150 years, the famous Maison Noilly Prat offers exclusive access to its heritage and the know-how of its cellar master. On the program: discovery of the House of Noilly Prat through guided tours, tasting of the different productions, initiation to the art of cocktails... Created from the merger of the Agde and Marseillan cooperative wineries, these wineries bring together hundreds of winegrowers. They are renowned for their dry white wines and rosés de terrasse. Among the various sales outlets, La Perle de Thau in Marseillan is a large cellar offering over 250 product references from all over the Occitanie region. An unusual feature is the use of pumps to dispense bulk wine. The winery also offers a wide range of wine-tourism activities, including a "grape tour" of the cellar, workshops and walks...

A true jewel of the department and the region, the Château de l'Engarran is one of these founding figures. A wine estate since 1632, it was acquired by the Bertrand/Grill family in 1923. Held by women for three generations, it is now managed by Diane Losfelt. As part of a sustainable and reasoned approach, the estate celebrates its land and tries to preserve its environment. The cooperative winery offers a unique experience combining nature, heritage, art and conviviality. Its range of Languedoc wines is extensive, and its 700 m² mural, created by internationally renowned street artist Jace, is impressive.
