A few kilometers from Nissan-Lez-Ensérunes, Château la Vernède is an old beautiful Folie du Languedoc, a legacy of the golden age of wine merchants in the 19th century. Dedicated to viticulture since antiquity, the estate is now preserved by the5th generation of the Ribet family in the person of Jean-Marc Ribet. Under the vinification of Mr. Maurer, an Alsatian trained in Bordeaux, the AOC Coteaux-du-Languedoc vintages offer powerful and harmonious reds, revealing nuances of fruit, licorice and sweet spices.
