The «Arcades du Lac» and the «Viaduct», two sets of dwellings, were born from the imagination of the Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill, and were erected between 1972 and 1980 in the district of Sourderie. They are located along the Artificiel artificial Basin - a mirror for the Viaduct - and today offer interesting testimony of the post-modern architectural current.

Perched on the heights of the Véxin, Jambville Castle is known as the National training centre for the Scouts and guides of France. Each year, more than 2 000 executives participate in training courses. Its architecture is unique since it has evolved over the centuries. The vaulted cellars are the th, the wing of the era Henri IV and the central pavilion date of Louis XIV. The castle park, created in the th century, is a remnant of the royal Forest of Arthies.
