Original house reminiscent of an English cottage, built in 1864 by architect Tricotel, now owned by the town.

Built in 1864, the house features a rural architecture reminiscent of the bucolic style of English houses. This highly original construction was the brainchild of Paul-Edouard Taconnet, a Parisian merchant who acquired the land in 1863. Its facades, set on a brick base, are veined with barked oak logs, with a salmon-colored coating. This style, together with its staircase turret and dovecote, lends the house a special charm. In the 20th century, its owner devoted 40 years to its restoration and, in 2007, donated it to the town.

Une villa en bois. Construit en 1846. Toujours une résidence privée. Il a ensuite été adopté comme attraction touristique par le gouvernement. Malheureusement je ne sais pas quand je pourrai visiter cette maison en bois.
