The mythical Garota de Ipanema bar is the place where the most famous Brazilian song, Garota de Ipanema, was written and composed by AntônioTom Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes, the hit that made bossa nova known to the world. Shenigan's is a real Irish pub, crowded on weekends, where the beer flows freely, in the spirit of both Temple Bar and Carioca. We had already mentioned the fantastic work of the puppeteers from the Très Portas pousada team in Tiradentes. The teatro espaço is also a must for puppet lovers. There is a fantastic silent puppet show on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9pm (as well as Fridays and Saturdays in high season), which is internationally renowned and always full. The Fishbone is a new concept of beach club, part bar, part restaurant, part sports and cultural center and part concert venue.
