The legendary Garota de Ipanema is a bar that needs no introduction! This is where Antônio Tom Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes composed Garota de Ipanema, the hit that introduced bossa nova to the world. Apart from the historical aspect, which at least warrants a drink, you can enjoy excellent pasteis on your way back from the beach. The clientele is mainly made up of tourists, but a few old Ipanema regulars meet here on quiet weekday afternoons. It's an ideal place to observe life in the neighborhood.

Nous avons déjeuné dans ce resto mythique, le cadre est très agréable, délicieux picahna, viande succulente et portions généreuses, à essayer au moins une fois !
