ANGEL CHAPEL CASTLE
Read moreSituated on the Jacques Coeur road, this feudal castle was fortified by Gillon de Seuly, founder of the city, at the end of the th century. Surrounded by a moat, surrounded by round towers, a dungeon and dominated by a pond, it is furnished and inhabited but opened to the public. This painter from Culan donated to the city of Bourges a remarkable set of pieces representative of the evolution of his work. The artist's research and questioning, as well as his confrontation and participation in the artistic movements of the twentieth century, can be traced in chronological order. Little by little, abstraction replaces the figurative, its vision of the world thickens, light and balance impregnate its compositions. Estève began painting at the earliest age and only stopped in 1998. An amateur of great masters like Fouqet, Cézanne, Poussin or Uccello, he drew inspiration from his inspiration to feed his work throughout his life. The beautiful course of the museum is enhanced by the exceptional surroundings of the three floors of the Hotel des Echevins.

HORSE AND DONKEY POLE
Read moreA few kilometres from Lignières, the Passing Fancies is a large property of the fifteenth century, beautifully restored. Le Pôle, owned by the General Council of Expensive, gathers one of equipment (horse race) and riding (quarries, course cross...) most of France. With more than 50 days of events annually, 7 of which meetings of races and national and international events of horse and carriage, jumps of obstacles, horse- ball and the competitions, attracting an increasing number of passionate horse and donkey but also a family public nature lovers and relaxation (rental, donkey rides cart, hiking...). It has a station of the national stud farms and the breed of Large Black donkey of Berry whose original is in Lignières. Each pentecost Monday, the fair with donkeys of Lignières attracts in the village of thousands of passionate donkeys of France. Le Pôle du Cheval and l'âne opened in June 2010 an unusual holiday village, which has a capacity of 200 beds in sedentary caravans. In July and August, walks in horse and carriage and hikes with your donkey daily on reservation.

Read moreA stage of the Jacques Coeur Road, the Museum des Métiers is established within the Silver Castle built in the xiiith century and has an elegant park where the promenade rhymes with pleasure, it is a beautiful domed nature drawn by the botanist and encyclopedist Duhamel of Montceau. Located just on its side, the Saint-André church, classified as a historic monument in 1944, built in the xiiith century and restored in 1892 by Octave Guérin, is pleasantly placed at the Trade Museum. Completely atypical, it proposes on three levels spaces recreating workshops of craftsmen of iron, fire and wood such as charron, cordier, blacksmith, dinandier, sabotage, sweetheart, joiner, carpenter, brass, brass, joiner, carpenters… fleurir the various traditions of architecture in France have disappeared well. This stated, a big thank you to the municipality that managed to preserve this construction coquette and its park, acquiring it in 1957, thus, by ricochet, embraced the motto of the Museum: Anyone who forgets his past is condemned to do so again.
