Taken over last March, the new owners of this restaurant in the heart of the Cité de la Voile have totally reinvented the place. La Baleine, which had been dehydrated, is now rehydrated again, with fresh, local cuisine (burgers, salads, tartines, boards), a drinks menu and a flurry of entertainment. We love the sharing corner, which invites groups of 2 to 4 people to share "Flam's", topped with fromage blanc, tomato and fresh herbs. The idea of an open-access bar area is also ingenious and convivial. Promoting!

Amazing things are happening in central Brittany. Under the impulse of three friends, a beer bar / barber shop opened its doors in Ploërmel in 2022. The Beardy's has invested a very beautiful building in the historical center: stone walls, exposed beams, large glass roof... The place was magnified by a very recent renovation, decorated in an industrial style and nevertheless very warm. A magic combo, for an absolutely atypical place that you should not miss. Games, concerts and swings are also available... Curious?

What more could you ask for than a bar with themed evenings and concerts? At L'Entrepote, recently opened, all the ingredients are gathered to spend a good evening. The atmosphere is there, enhanced by an atypical decoration that will immediately immerse you in its universe. Food: a very limited but excellent menu for lunch. In the evening and during events, aperitif boards will accompany beers and cocktails. We like the place for the quality of the service and the kindness of its teams!

Students are regularly organized in this tribales bar. While buffalo and totems dominate this and there, the place is also known to be the favourite bar of many FC Lorient fans and the seat of the association Amtrak Ultras, who has been animates the Moustoir for over 15 years.

In May 2022, Angélique and Laurent took over this very nice bar in Pontivy for the greatest happiness of its inhabitants. In a very lively pub spirit, you will find concerts, open stages and events of all kinds. Le Bar d'en Face is an atmospheric bar with live music, rock'n'roll, jazz and Irish sessions, DJ sets and broadcasts of rugby matches or concerts on the big screen. It's a pub with an organic wine list, 10 original draught beers at very reasonable prices, a cocktail menu based on fresh seasonal fruit and a selection of mature sausages to accompany your aperitif! It's the after-party recommended by the Tavarn Ar Roue Morvan team, which makes sense, since it's the same place, but across the street!

The stone walls are covered with photos by local artists who exhibit their work, and a bookmaking area adds to the magic of this bookshop, where it's good to chat aloud.

Located in Carnac village, 50 m from the church, this wine bar is renowned for its excellent coffee and its choice of glass wines from small growers or draught beer. The atypical decoration is very nice, in keeping with the reception of Jérôme, the master of the places since June 2012. At any time, the house offers sandwiches and desserts, and at the time of the aperitif there is always something to eat, not to mention the sausages proposed. This pub with the Irish colours and atmosphere offers sports retransmissions on a giant screen. It also has darts of darts, with organized inter-bar competitions. Marie-Cécile, Emilie and Julien, who took over the pub on May 15, 2006, offered eight beers to pressure including Guinness, 1664 white and Grimbergen. Julien, part of the association des barmen de France (ABF), works with new products and offers personalized cocktails. It's no surprise that here you feel like home!

All year round, they are accompanied by home-made pastries and a host of sweets (macaroons, entremets, artisanal cookies, etc.), to be discovered at the counter and on the chalkboard. Formerly a Servoiserie, Yoann Guillemot's Le Fût percute opened its doors ten years ago. An afterwork bar and beer cellar (350 references on draught, bottle and can), the venue also lends itself delightfully to festive events: weekly quizzes and blind tests on Thursdays, karaoke every first Saturday of the month, occasional concerts and open stages, broadcasts of major sporting events on giant screens, it's great to have a frothy drink with friends in the Kerlann area. Now there's a place to get curious about! Since July 2022, Le Garage has been home to a shared space run by the association Les Amis du Garage d'Étel. The idea? Host several trades, from catering to crafts, and organize related events: markets, workshops, concerts... This business colocation showcases local merchants, serves as a coworking space for freelancers and offers a bar-restaurant service. A civic initiative worth supporting!

Want to take a break from shopping on the Rhuys peninsula? Located in the Z.A. de Kerollaire, this new beer bar has everything you could wish for. Nadia and Emmanuel, the owners, offer draught beers, wines and cocktails to drink on the premises and a fine selection to take away, particularly from Brittany. To accompany your refreshments, the bar offers a few snacks to nibble on, such as planks, hot camemberts or sausages. And while you're waiting to be served, why not play a game of darts?

Last March, this craft brewery moved from Theix-Noyalo to the Kerveau business park in Questembert. The brewery offers a selection of 7 beers on permanent draught, and ephemeral beers on tap. Collaborations with other craft breweries will also be available at the Horizon bar and in the boutique. Holder of the Nature et progrès label, the brewery uses raw materials from Brittany: the cereals come from Saint-Avé and the hops from Morbihan. The recipes are even freely available!

Created in 1890 and taken over by Morgane, Le Café du Midi is a landmark for locals. One comes there to drink a coffee while quietly reading the newspaper, to sip a beer at the aperitif or to eat a dish of the day, a plate, a composed salad or a traditional cake. The establishment, a little jewel of the peninsula, has kept its charm and cachet of yesteryear, with its tables close together and its unobstructed view of the pretty Haliguen port. The first and only coffee-shop on the Rhuys peninsula, Kkothé opened its doors in June 2023 opposite the Hermine cultural center in Sarzeau. On board, Gilbert Delanchy offers, in a tropical atmosphere, homemade delicacies (cookies, brookies), artisanal ice creams, a range of hot drinks (teas, coffees, rooibos) and cold drinks (iced teas, milkshakes), as well as a fresh and copious lunch menu for consumption on site. The Ar Roc'h Café store, located beyond the tourist center of La Roche-Bernard, is worth a visit. Coffee lovers will appreciate to taste a high quality coffee, roasted on the spot. This country bistro is a real institution in Sarzeau and the surrounding area. Having taken over the family business more than 30 years ago, Gwénaël Le Jendre doesn't want to let go of the torch, and for good reason, he likes to say: "I'm too much in love with this area to consider anything else" except getting on his Harley and travelling to more or less distant places. The Clifden, which was opened by his grandfather in 1925, has celebrated its 90th anniversary with rock bands, rockabilly, blues or traditional Celtic music. There is something for everyone in the summer evenings!

You enter here as if you were opening the pages of a comic strip. The story opens with a whimsical character, Youn, the adorable owner of the premises, accompanied by two donkeys, Gaston and Pettersson. All you have to do is read the dialogue on the walls, and as for the decor, take the flying fish and retro board games upstairs! The result is a cacophony of color, a symphony of yesteryear in which you can spend hours re-envisioning the world over a drink and a handful of peanuts. Le Petit Futé was delighted, and chances are you will be too!

Much more than a pub, the Ti Beudeff, created in 1972 by Morgann's family, is an institution in Groix. The establishment offers a bar service and a restaurant in high season.

Jean-Marc will prepare typical Groix dishes for you: tuna stew and pan-fried Kouign Pod "Chum Pot" (the island's traditional cake). After the meal, you can extend the evening and discover the arranged rums of Ti Beudeff, to the rhythm of sea songs and Celtic music. An evening that you will not forget!

During a walk in the center of Port-Louis, in the only pedestrian street of the town, we invite you to stop in this multi-faceted establishment. La Dame Blanche is a tea room, coffee shop and bookstore that offers sweet and savory snacks. Open all day in high season, it is a very nice and friendly place to have a tea and a homemade pastry while leafing through the book you just bought. In summer, you can enjoy the garden in bloom... A nice address to discover.

The Westport is a sister pub to the Galway Inn, located at the "Bermuda Triangle" as the locals call it, and is a great place to party or eat. The pub offers craft beers, whiskies, rums, wine and cocktails, all in a warm atmosphere. On the programme: beer, musical encounters, lunch formulas at noon and boards to share in the evening. On the menu, some specialities: beef with Guinness and Irish stew with lamb, but also hot dogs, burgers, fish and chips... And on Saturday, it's Irish Breakfast!

If you're looking for a family bar where all generations can get together for a drink or dance on the wooden dance floor, this is the place to go. Le Marcellin - Marcel for connoisseurs - brings together regulars and tourists passing through the Rhuys peninsula to share themed evenings: blind tests, fancy dress parties... In February, the bar even plays host to BWS and its troupe of Irish musicians. As well as being a great place to have fun, it's also a cabinet of curiosities, with a wealth of bric-a-brac to contemplate!

Big brother to the Marcellin - which belongs to the same owner, Brice Bonnot - the Malvern is the only nightclub on the Rhuys peninsula. The faithful usually start the evening at Le Marcellin, then leave the wooden ship for this two-room discotheque. The first is a generalist-style room, while the second (Salle Cachot) is dedicated to electro music. There's a charge for entry and a drink is included. Several themed evenings are on offer, and VTC shuttles are also available to get you home in complete peace of mind.

After Hello Rivages in Plouharnel/Carnac, the Quiberon train station has been given a new business: Tchou Tchou. A lively café-guinguette for bon vivants, it has been brightening up evenings on the peninsula since summer 2023. On the program: good, local food on tapas boards and on the drinks menu, and entertainment that's going strong! In fact, the train isn't far away, as Tchou Tchou has set up shop in the former premises adjoining the station. You can still see the stop sign at the bar: be sure to stop in!

An eco-responsible canteen set up in the former Plouharnel railway station, Hello Rivages opened its doors in December 2021. Julie and Magali are at the helm of this welcoming third place, whose concept won the 2021 call for projects of the 1001 stations program (which supports innovative projects), and welcome you in good spirits around inventive home cooking that respects the seasonal nature of products, which is accompanied by cultural and festive events, workshops, apéro-projection or apéro-concert, for joyful and gourmet moments.

Just a stone's throw from Guidel's marina and the Bas-Pouldu beach (ideal for young children), where the Laïta river meets the ocean, there are a number of restaurants to satisfy the hungry (and thirsty). Among them, O'Roof, the only representative of the area on the other side of the Channel.
