Read moreIt has opened its doors since 9 April 2003, 60 years after the destruction of the old theatre. The site accommodates up to 950 people. Led by Josette Joubier, here are the outlines of his artistic project: proposing multidisciplinary programming with a place of choice for dance; make available artistic teams, time and space to promote the phases of work and creation (thanks to the rehearsal studio) and raise awareness among the public at the shows, especially the young public. Meetings with schools, universities and associations are organized. The Grand Theatre aims to host all forms of theatre, music, dance, opera, and to open up to the programming of new, local or international companies. For information, every month, free guided tour in connection with an actor, reservation date for groups.

The restaurant offers fine cuisine based on fresh, seasonal produce, with a preference for local products. The concert hall has been transformed into an ambiance bar, with the possibility of privatizing the space for companies. The stage has been recreated in a theatrical style, in homage to the venue's past. Red curtains, cornices and vintage objects create an atmosphere reminiscent of the Parisian cafés of the 1930s.

The cafeteria is a convivial meeting place where small concerts are given (e. g. electronic music) and where art exhibitions are planned. MAPL also continues its programming work with concerts almost every weekend at the Manège. Some are organised in collaboration with associations of the Country of Lorient and there are really for all tastes (rock, metal, French song, world music, reggae, rap, electro…).
