Artist-painter André Michel created, in partnership with the Ushket-André Michel Foundation, this place of exchange and sharing aimed at making Aboriginal peoples better known. Proposed activities (some by reservation): exhibitions of works by contemporary Aboriginal and Métis artists, various workshops, performances by Aboriginal musical artists, tastings of Amerindian food, etc. Boutique combining Aboriginal art and know-how and Café Le Mishtan on site.

The permanent exhibition Entre résistance armée et insurrection (Between Armed Resistance and Insurrection ) looks at the Patriotes' struggle led by Louis-Joseph Papineau and the battles of Saint-Denis, Saint-Charles and Saint-Eustache. Workshops, outdoor tours, guided tours, cultural programming, lectures, films and special events are also offered on site. This museum has a collection of over 160 railway vehicles. It's over half a century of railway history that you cross through this exhibition on the era of giant locomotives, monumental constructions, the extension of the industrial revolution in Canada, from sea to sea. A locomotive and tramway drive on the ground, with the great pleasure of children, and an ancestral railway station will revive the beautiful period of the th century.

Inaugurated in 1849, the Saint-Ours Canal allowed ships to cross the last obstacle on the waterway between Montreal and New York. The canal, nicknamed the tenth lock of the Richelieu, became indispensable to the region's trade, but also to international trade, for more than a century. Today, it is a place of relaxation that attracts families, walkers and nature lovers. Allow about an hour to tour Darvard Island, visit the Superintendent's house and the fish ladder.
