I love this hike, which can be completed in half a day. When you leave the village of Bonloc in the direction of Saint-Esteben, keep an eye on the kilometre marker: at the Saint-Esteben milestone (3.5 km), take a small road to the right. And you can stop the vehicle as the road becomes a path: after crossing a stream called Garraldako Erreka, the world is yours! This ascent takes around 2 hours and is accessible to all.

The ascent to the estives is a major event for the valley, and the signposted route is only the lower part of the transhumance from Arette to La Mouline. This route juggles between the cluses and the departmental road. From Arette, follow the right bank of the Vert and climb towards the Cazaurang farm, near the Hourat bridge, to reach the defile between the Sudou peak and the Soom de Liorry. The scenery is grandiose and surprising.

The equestrian club is the Pôle Equestre de Biarritz. Its aim? To make horse-riding a possible activity for everyone from the age of 3, surrounded by a professional teaching team to discover the world of horses. The Pôle Equestre has a closed riding arena, a covered arena, two riding arenas including an equestrian stadium, 3 tack rooms, lockers for owner-riders and 180 boxes. The French Alpine Club is over one hundred and forty years old. Run by enthusiasts, it's a meeting place for mountain lovers, where strong bonds are forged with the pleasure of getting out into the mountains and nature. The Évasion Pyrénéenne association is committed to protecting the environment. Founded in 1988, it is a registered Nature Protection and Jeunesse et Sports organization. Its main objective is environmental education, by raising public awareness of the need to discover and preserve nature. Through its activities, the association aims to improve everyday habits in favor of our natural heritage.

With 12 members in 2012, the independent club Spelexpo organizes exploration raids for speleologists confirmed in three major caves of the Pyrenees-Atlantic. Built at the end of the ^19th century on the lands of the Countess de Noailles, heiress of Beaumont, the court is an imposing monument in Pau. Built by the architect Virant, the court was described in 1930 by a historian as "the most beautiful court in France and perhaps in the world". After being transformed into a trinquet court, the Jeu de paume de Navarre association is working hard to maintain the hall's original activity. It is possible to reserve slots for initiations, demonstrations and tournaments are regularly organized.

Trained as an architect, Christine is an artist and designer with an eye for space. She loves color and composition, and communicates with images, etching, silkscreening and collage. For over 35 years, Pyrénées Aventures Nouvelles has been offering canyoning trips, combined with caving, hiking and climbing in the Soule canyons, from the village's nautical base. At the beginning of the Loisirs leisure base, a discovery trail leads you to the encounter of the fauna and flora of this mountain. The first step of the journey is to take up to 50 minutes, before meeting the first information panels. They will inform you about the specific aspects of this mountain, such as the presence of the pottok, the typical horse of the Basque Country, the use of kaolin, or the pastoral tradition in Baigura. After 1 p. m., you will have the choice between doing half-turn or continuing on a larger loop, which climbs up to the collar and prolongs the two-hour walk.

Famous for its pepper production, Espelette also boasts a rich pastoral heritage. The farm trail invites you to explore this tradition over a 4 km loop on the Escondray plateau. For lovers of grandiose panoramic views, the Nordic area of Issarbe is a real enchantment. As far as the eye can see, the panorama is fabulous, stretching from the plains of Béarn to the inland Basque country. The resort is home to nine runs, including a special circuit for snowshoe enthusiasts, footpaths and a tobogganing area. The ski area boasts breathtaking views of the Pic d'Anie, with trails through the forest and along the ridges.

Located in Socoa, this small nautical base has its feet practically in the water and is bursting with activities.
