A show creator since 1979, a center for theatrical research, touring shows... the Théâtre du Versant has been able to display its differences in a wide variety of shows. During the season, our actors bring to life the Cité de l'Océan's technological illustrations. All year round, projects abound. During the vacations, the theater offers workshops for children and teenagers. It's also a place of residence, in the middle of a 13,000m² wood, for performing artists, a laboratory and a creative center.

Oz'art is THE Ali Baba's cave for lovers of art, painting, drawing and all creative hobbies, with over 20,000 products in store. In Bayonne, the store offers a wide range of supplies for painting, modeling, making decorative objects and customizing clothes, as well as educational games for children. Whether you're an amateur or a professional, you'll be able to make personalized creations. The store also organizes workshops.

For nearly thirty years, this association has been offering a different approach to learning music from that of a conservatory. The teaching, provided by music professionals, focuses on musical creation, the discovery of sounds, the soundscape and perception. From 18-month-olds to 15-year-olds, everyone can experiment with creative music. Advanced courses and training workshops are aimed at adults and professionals. The aim is to give a different vision of music and raise awareness of all aspects of the world of sound.

For the past fifteen years, a fine team led by conductor Fayçal Karoui has been sowing the seeds of music in the hearts and fingers of hundreds of children from every district. Instruments are loaned free of charge, and a restored former convent has become a place for learning and sharing. The concerts, each one crazier than the last, are played at the bottom of buildings, in halls large and small, and bring together an emotional crowd. Proof that Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel's orchestra of solidarity has spread throughout the world and... all the way to Pau! Long live El Camino!

Come as you are, "hands in your pockets". Isabelle Parier, a multi-graduate plastician, is pleased to provide you with everything you need to guide you in creation. Its courses are aimed at everyone regardless of age (both children and adults) and without prior training. It is not aimed at learning techniques but just sharing ideas, it will be able to hold in the imagination of each one a starting point and exploit the spontaneous initiative. Painting, pastels, fatty pencils, collages, all forms of artistic expressions are used. Perhaps the occasion to discover a soul of artist. 

Born from the passion of its instructor, Céline Guitou, this dance association will enable you to discover or perfect your swing in the best conditions. Good humor and lots of laughs are always part of every lesson, during which dances from the 20s are studied, including Lindy, Balboa, Shag, West Coast Swing... Fun, lively choreography is tailored to suit each individual's level, and Céline is happy to explain everything in detail so that every move is a mystery to you. A class that will transport you in rhythm and form!

At the MJC, the Rock'n'roll Passion association offers weekly rock'n'roll classes all year round. This long-established rock'n'roll class in Pau offers quality lessons at an attractive price. Lessons are given by the association's own instructors or by other outside contributors, guided by a desire to pass on their know-how and enable participants to deepen and perfect various dances. One Saturday a month, rock evenings are organized from 10pm to 2am. The club also offers country dancing classes, which also demand energy and concentration! This vast, bright, wooded space offers workshops in basketry, ecological resin, ceramics or cyanotype, a digital 3D printing and laser cutting lab, a superbly equipped wood workshop, a custom manufacturing service and a beautiful boutique. The creators in residence exchange, share and reveal their work to the amazed visitors. You can also eat there from Wednesday to Saturday!

Housed in the sumptuous premises of the former Réparatrices convent, the music and dance school offers 74 acoustically efficient classrooms. The curriculum is structured in cycles, with teachers guiding students to mastery of their instrument. This involves learning music theory and ensemble playing, as well as individual practice. Disciplines taught: dance, music theory, singing, opera, choral conducting, ensemble music, chamber music, violin, viola, flute, piano..

A showcase for Hendaye's activities, the Fête Basque is the must-attend event of a successful summer on the Basque Coast, held every year on the second weekend of August. Under the impetus of the town council and the festivities committee, this great Basque fair has been organized since Sunday August 31, 1930... To demonstrate that legendary Basque customs and traditions are still very much alive, and that they are more than ever an attraction for visitors. Cavalcades, bandas, chariot races, traditional dances, fireworks... and dancing are on the program!

Artistic expression in children is an essential component of their cognitive, emotional and social development. This workshop offers children, teenagers and adults the chance to develop their creativity through the use of different artistic techniques: painting, drawing, pottery, modeling and ceramics. These weekly get-togethers are moments of sharing that also encourage intergenerational exchanges by developing a multitude of social and emotional skills. Pierre-Marc is a luthier based in the Saint-Esprit district. Talented self-taught and passionate about hand-crafted acoustic and electro-acoustic nylon-string guitars, as opposed to mass-produced instruments, he also offers repair, restoration, tuning and maintenance services. And coming soon: guitar-making workshops on Saturday mornings. Recognized by amateurs and professionals alike, he is now consulted by guitarists from all walks of life.
