Touskiflot is both a sporting and a festive event! On the Gave de Pau, the craziest boats offer up a mythical race! The most incredible, handcrafted rafts battle it out in a non-stop, good-humored battle. Between 3 and 7 people put on the show, with participants showing off their inventive rafts and disguises. Between Pont d'Espagne and Laroin, the crew have a field day! For the public, it's two days of festivities with entertainment, meals... The whole weekend's fun! Sunday's race remains the highlight of the event initiated by the Léo Lagrange center.

This run, which can also be done as a fast walk, is reserved for women. It's an event that celebrates solidarity, women's emancipation and the promotion of health. Every year, thousands of women gather in the streets of Pau to run together. The 6 km course winds through the city in a friendly atmosphere, with the aim of raising funds for local charities (breast cancer, domestic violence, etc.). In addition, the Foulée des Enfants is a 900 m course for budding runners. Whether you're an individual, a student or a corporate challenge, this is the place to be.

Hestiv'Òc is a total immersion in Occitan culture, showcasing its language, music, dance and traditions. To the rhythm of local music and dance, local and international groups perform on stage, offering a variety of styles, from traditional folk to contemporary music. You won't be able to resist getting up and dancing to the sound of accordions, tambourines and fiddles. Carnaval Biarnés is the biggest carnival in Béarn and one of the biggest in France! This popular event showcases the region's folklore. There's also the fantastic story of His Majesty Sent Pançard (the embodiment of bad feelings) and his court, who come to witness his trial and cremation, the climax of the event. There's no shortage of fireworks: school carnivals, school bear hunts, street passes, strolls, games, a grand ball, fireworks... the whole town is mobilized for a week of total celebration!

For several years now, the Campo de Feria has been established around the bullring as a matter of course, a direct legacy of the great "romerias" organized in the Vauban moat by the Cercle Taurin in the early 1950s. A great event bringing together the festive atmospheres of Seville, Pamplona and Bayonne. Around the bullring, exhibitions, bars and restaurants, musical entertainment, parades, tertulias ... and the plaza of Bayonne is ablaze from morning to evening in an atmosphere very aficionada and festive around the bullfights of the Feria de l'Atlantique.
