For Christel, tea is a family story. Her grandfather was an importer of tea, coffee and chocolate in Le Havre. The young woman opened her first tea room 20 years ago in the passage Sarget and then a shop in the Grands Hommes. She left the Golden Triangle to set up shop in Eysines, in a more spacious location where she can organise tastings. She offers more than 150 different teas, grand cru or organic, matés, rooibos, flower and fruit waters for infusion, gift ideas, mugs, teapots, kettles, etc

It's easy to enter Béatrice Anisset's boutique, where you can do your shopping and indulge in one of the 120 teas and herbal teas on offer. Coffee is roasted on site. You'll also find everything you need to enjoy your coffee (coffee machines, crockery, infusers...). At the back, a charming garden for fine weather and a small room where you can warm up by the wood-burning stove with a hot chocolate, curled up on pretty leather sofas. For lunch: savory tarts, soups and other delicacies.

The Un air de thé tea house boasts over 270 products, including grand cru, premium and organic teas from the finest origins, as well as naturally scented teas, rooibos, herbal teas and infusions. It organizes events and tasting workshops around tea: the 6 colors of tea, green tea, Oolong tea, or more surprisingly, the marriage of tea and cheese. Un air de thé is also a school that trains tea-testers. The idea is to taste teas in the same way as oenologists, in order to improve or transform them.

Custom roasting, equipment sales and rental, demonstrations... La tasse qui fume... fume! Under the arcades of the Place de la Prévôté, regulars come to stock up on green, black, white, dark or red tea. Mais aussi de tisanes, de cafés moulus ou en grains, de capsules format Nespresso et autres petites gourmandises à piocher sur les étals. Always with the good advice of the house! Since 2014, the L'Alchimiste roasting workshop has been based on the right bank in Darwin, and is a delight for all the city's "caffeinophiles". The great vintages of coffee produced here can be discovered and tasted in the café-boutique set up next to the Intendance, where people come to enjoy a delicious coffee (espresso, cortado, cappuccino, filter coffee...) accompanied by a little sweetness... A place for exchange, advice and tasting, L'Alchimiste also offers a selection of coffee makers, machines and grinders for sale.

The first coffee shop to open in Bordeaux (back in 2014!), the longevity of this tiny cocoon is undoubtedly due to the quality of its specialty coffee. Lovers of latte art meet there to taste great vintages, roasted not far from there by Oven Heaven. Special mention should be made of the filter coffee, prepared by hand in Chemex coffee makers, the Rolls of the machines. Breakfast and brunch join the party, with excellent pancakes or pastries, and every week new sandwiches, burgers and dishes are offered at lunch.

Arthur Audibert lived in North America and Paris before returning to his hometown, having trained with some of the world's greatest master roasters. Six types of fine coffee are roasted on site: mochas, red bourbon, yellow varieties, blends and - sacrilege - decaffeinated. The owner particularly appreciates gentle roasting and tasting methods. If you can't get to his roasting studio on the Right Bank, you can visit his boutique. The L'Alchimiste website is very ergonomic.

Coffee shop, restaurant and tea room... Cafeincup combines everything in one! The team welcomes you in the morning in a very friendly atmosphere. During the week, the atmosphere is studious: young people settle down to enjoy the coffee and the wifi. During the week, we enjoy the brunch. In the shop, you will find carefully selected coffee as well as accessories to make the best coffee at home: chemex, aeropress kit, stainless steel kettle, manual grinder... Mélanie Badets, an agricultural engineer with a fine nose and palate, has taken over Cafés Tchanqué - named after the famous tchanqué huts - and given them the name Tchanqué Gourmet. She, too, knows a thing or two about coffee and roasting. Her coffees come from the mountains of India, Africa and Latin America. She selects them with care, giving preference to small producers who are passionate about their craft. The Cafés Tchanqués, Cabane 53 -in reference to the Arcachon Basin- and Empreinte (organic coffees) collections are available in 200 gram to 1 kg bags and capsules.

La Fabrique à Desserts is a tea room that delights you with traditional or signature fine pastries (some are gluten-free). With their freshness and well-controlled sugar content, they're well worth the detour. The hardest part will be choosing. You'll also find lactose-free homemade cakes, confectionery, cookies, entremets to share, chocolate bars from Maison Pralus, ice creams... And a fine selection of teas (FBKT). There's also a lunch menu. On site, takeaway or delivery?

Why go to Benoît Van Brabandt to buy tea? Quite simply because this northerner, a master brewer and herbalist, buys tea, tastes it, blends it and sells it under his brand. He has 400 varieties of tea to his credit from some twenty countries. To honor his adopted city, he has given evocative names to teas with fragrant blends and infusions based on typical plants such as maritime pine or mimosa: Le Pyla green tea, Earl Grey d'Arcachon, Arcachon breakfast, Jardin d'hiver or Le Ferret infusion, etc.
