Ever heard of the bloodthirsty barber Sweeney Todd's? Lance and Margot have named their Bordeaux pub after him... But there's no danger of that here, where you can enjoy good beers and good burgers in a friendly atmosphere, not forgetting the famous pies filled with melting meat. The atmosphere is always lively: duringhappy hour, in the evening for broadcasts of major sports matches, and at lunchtime on weekends. It's not a big place, but you'll feel right at home. The Lucifer is a beer drinker's paradise: over 250 bottled beers and 18 drafts. The counter is big enough to sit at, unless you prefer a bench near the darts. Once you've settled in, all you have to do is choose one of the delicious blondes or reds: abbey beer matured in oak barrels or the inevitable "beer flame" flambé. At the Lucifer, there are many activities: board games, improvisation theatre, concerts... Feeling hungry? The chef offers traditional beer cuisine.

Recently opened, this bright little coffee shop is a wonderful discovery. All day long, you can indulge in cakes, pastries and other gourmet pastries, such as the bacon roll with maple syrup. The drinks menu is a real eye-catcher, with delicious coffees and lattes, and especially a colorful Ice Tea Magic! On the savoury side, a number of world-influenced dishes are perfectly executed: subtly spiced shakshouka, creamy eggs Benedict, seasonal tartine on organic sourdough bread... In this gigantic bodega inspired by the Basque country, the charm begins as soon as you enter. The drinks menu features beers, a wide selection of wines, and cocktails with or without alcohol. Enjoy in the dining room or on the large terrace.

Cocktail bar

De Part et d'Autre is a 2-in-1 establishment, just the way we like it: on the one hand you eat, on the other you have fun! Upstairs, the pretty Bordeaux brasserie serves seasonal dishes subtly enhanced with Creole touches at lunch and dinner times. After the feast for the taste buds, it's time to relax: the basement is home to a Caribbean rum cellar with a hushed, intimate atmosphere in the early evening, which comes alive with the sound of DJ sets organized as cocktails are served... An address we'd like to keep secret!

Is this San Sebastian or Bordeaux? At Bodega del Teatro, which adjoins Le Theatro club, the atmosphere is as lively as Spanish Basque evenings can be: tapas, paella, sangria, and a good dose of music to liven things up. The space is very large, and doubles up as a terrace, so you'll have plenty of room for groups and even a few dance steps. Afterworks, concerts, DJ sets, pintxos night (every Friday). Be warned, though, that you may find yourself throwing your arms into a frenzied paquito!
