In the heart of Campiglio, a rather classy address. The restaurant area with its wood panelling and traditional decor will attract gourmets. We advise you to sit here especially on concert evenings and to taste for example potato rösti, speck and melted cheese, a kind of cooked Tyrolean raclette. Save room for desserts that are also crazy. On the bar side, the aperitifs are tasty, with a buffet for a rich snack. People come here to drink a good homemade beer, a cocktail or wine. Nice terrace.

The restaurant of the same name spreads out its beautiful terrace on the unmistakable Place Walther. The waiters are elegant, friendly and discreet. You are welcome to linger on the terrace to enjoy the lively square. We are here in the front row! The menu is surprisingly inexpensive, the kitchens have fairly flexible schedules and even if you come here a lot for a drink, the plates are of good quality. Like this unforgettable Ligurian rabbit, deliciously prepared with its small vegetables and homemade sauce.

Without doubt the best restaurant in the village, in the heart of the little streets of Canazei. An address that takes as much care of its plates as its glasses. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, whether you're sitting at one of the large tables, or at the counter chatting with the cheeky waiters. It's hard to choose, but the sliced beef with mushrooms and vegetables, washed down with a pinot gris, was divine, as was the pork shank with polenta flavored with fresh mushrooms. The desserts are just as tempting and hearty, so save room!

If you want to eat fish or seafood, this is the place for you! These are obviously not the region's specialties, but mountain dwellers are entitled to a few seafood restaurants. Spaghetti alle vongole, fish soup, shrimp kebabs, the choice is wide. On Thursdays, the restaurant serves excellent grilled seafood. There are also meat dishes and some typical Trentino specialties. We recommend the pork tenderloin wrapped in speck and glazed with marsala wine. Warm welcome and fair prices.

Located in the centre of the village, this trattoria is pleasant first of all for its setting. White benches and tablecloths, wooden chairs and wainscotting everywhere give a refined chalet atmosphere. You can also opt for the terrace in summer, exceptional and surrounded by greenery. Regional specialities, Italian classics and pizzas are served here. The most important thing is to preserve the flavour of home cooking, as in the original tagliatelle with venison and juniper stew or roast pork with blueberries. Appetizing, isn't it?

The restaurant is located at an altitude of over 2,200 meters in the Lumen Museum of Photography, which opened a few years ago. Located in a former warehouse on a small square in the city centre, this friendly neighbourhood bistro offers tasty regional cuisine and a touch of the good old-fashioned style (excellent antipasti in particular). You can sit in one of the three tastefully decorated rooms, two of which are made of stone with vaulted ceilings, and in one of them you can see the cooks at work in their kitchen. Nice summer terrace for lunch under parasols. An address appreciated by the locals, which we can only recommend.

Here's a quality Italian-style fast-food restaurant near the train station, on the old town side. In this neighborhood with its large student population, this affordable address is a godsend. It's always busy, and it's easy to see why, as the value for money is unbeatable. At the piadine counter, you order a mini or regular version, choosing your local ingredients. You can take away or eat on site at counters or tables. Quickly done, well done, and with a smile!

Ideal to eat a good pizza without breaking the bank. The place is unpretentious, with a large vaulted room overlooking ancient stone arches. The locals are not mistaken and come here to order their favourite pizzas. The mozzarella is particularly exceptional, the thin and crispy dough is tasty and the pizza with Tyrolean speck and a beautiful ball of burrata is a pure wonder. Also some very hearty pasta dishes, but really pizzas are a must. Fast and friendly service.

A trattoria in the historic center where excellent Trentino specialties are served at a good price. Try the surprising deer and black truffle risotto and the tasty sprangolapreti (Trentino gnocchi). Good local wines, very friendly service and a nice atmosphere in the evening. The setting is chic and elegant inside with nice antique armchairs. You can also opt for the terrace on the street. Unquestionably one of the best restaurants in the city. Since the ^16th century, the osteria Le Due Spade has been catering to the locals and travelers in Trento, that's for sure! Today, the osteria is a gourmet restaurant that has kept its ^17th century architecture, with a traditional tavern atmosphere, except that it offers creative and high quality regional cuisine. The dishes are declined on the mountain and sea side, with original seafood platters and tasty desserts. Reservations are essential because the osteria is very popular.

Well-equipped little cocoons that we like to take on half-board, so that we don't have to think about anything and we can sit down to eat, as it is one of the most famous restaurants in the area. An address for gourmets where the ingredients come as much as possible from the vegetable garden and the farm, where local flavors are very well worked, revisited by the chef Christof Feichter and twisted with modernity, the plates nicely decorated with mountain flowers.

On a quiet Sunday in Bruneco, Corso is the perfect place to end the weekend in typical Tyrolean style. The set menu features pizzas made to authentic Italian recipes, prepared with local flour and baked in a wood-fired oven. The pizza with mortadella and pistachio cream is a delight for both the eye and the palate. What's more, the menu offers a touch of the exotic with options that change every three months, so you can discover Japanese-inspired dishes, for example.

The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star by the famous chef Chris Oberhammer. Only five tables for 12 covers, nestled in the garden of the former Grand Hotel Dobbiaco. The family-inspired cuisine is as modern as the place itself. It relies on local products, flavors and colors of the region. The chef is always more inventive in the forms and combinations of flavors, each dish is a work of art and a delicious discovery. This refuge-bar-restaurant is located at the top of the slopes of the Reda Crossa cable car. It is therefore only accessible during the day. It's renowned for its delicious plates of local specialities, fresh mushroom dishes when in season, and homemade cakes. It's an ideal place for families: in summer, there's a playground out front, and many hiking trails start from the refuge. In winter, it's right in the middle of the slopes and the starting point for a 5 km toboggan run!

To make matters worse, one comes from far and wide to dine in the restaurant, which serves excellent Tyrolean specialities.

This restaurant is located at the foot of the Pale di San Martino mountain, very close to the Passo Rolle at an altitude of 1,980 metres. It is accessible by car, which is a good option in summer. Don't be surprised to see cows grazing in front of the terrace, they live in the surrounding fields because the restaurant belongs to a historical cheese factory that has diversified into local gastronomy over the years. You will find the best of the local production in the plate, but executed with a lot of lightness and grace. A good gastronomic address.

What was a small, rustic alpine hut in the 1900s has become a temple for gourmets today. At an altitude of 1400 metres, in the middle of Latemar, it offers a beautiful view of Moena below and the Vale di Fassa. Just because you're in the high mountains doesn't mean that fine cuisine doesn't exist! The proof is in the Malga Panna's plates, which are prepared like in the city's gastronomic restaurants. The tasting menus are particularly recommended, the suggestive one, very creative, as well as the traditional one, which revisits local specialities.

The panoramic view from Ütia Crëp de Munt, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, makes this one of those places that will always be remembered! The energy and creativity of the new owners, the Niederkofler brothers, have recently transformed this mountain hut into a very special place, where the best traditions of Alpine hospitality are highly respected and Ladin recipes are revived. No wonder the symbol of the hut is a chamois, one of the most graceful, agile and dexterous animals in the Dolomites.

If there was only one in the whole valley, this is it! This pizzeria is delicious, and of course the pizzas are all takeaway. Handy if you want to eat at the top of the slopes or have a picnic in the sun in summer. But it would be a shame not to take advantage of the setting: a lovely, bright chalet with a terrace. The choice is vast: about forty compositions from all over Italy, with Tyrolean specialities in the spotlight of course. The house also serves very simple Ladin specialities, homemade pasta, all well executed and well prepared.

The chef Bruno Steiner wanted to recreate the informal and convivial side of picnics in his restaurant: an open kitchen where you can see the chef at work, high tables, a family atmosphere, simplicity and freshness in the choice of ingredients. In fact, you can order everything to go! There is no stuffy atmosphere here, the tone is rather informal and friendly. The menu consists of only a handful of dishes that change constantly, dishes made with ingredients gleaned from the market and local farms.
